The room was decent. The private beach was a major highlight; it felt very secure and peaceful.

I stayed with a family of six in 2 interconnected rooms, everything was very well organised, buggy service was exceptional, food was the best if you like Asian and Indian food. Beach was very clean and sea was transparent as a glass.

In the fast-paced rhythm of life, finding a warm and comfortable place to stay is truly a rare and cherished experience. During my recent stay at this resort, I was deeply impressed by its exceptional service and thoughtful details, which gave me a deeper understanding of what it truly means to feel "at home away from home." First and foremost, the professionalism and warmth of the front desk staff were truly admirable. From the moment I walked through the door, the staff greeted me with friendly smiles and kind voices, which immediately put me at ease. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, well-organized, and without any delays. Once I entered the room, I was pleasantly surprised. The room was clean and tidy, tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view outside the window. The attention to detail was remarkable—whether it was the neatly arranged slippers, the perfectly set air conditioning, or the welcoming tea that had been thoughtfully prepared in advance, everything reflected the resort's care and consideration for its guests.

Please don’t stay in this hotel , The food here is awful — you leave the restaurant still hungry. The rooms are outdated and badly need renovation. This hotel is definitely not worth the money you pay. The manager of the hotel ( the wamen wearing in yellow ) was so rude !

Located in an idyllic beach, everything looks like out of a dream. There is still plenty to do though in terms of quality of service, considering the price of the overall experience. I am not saying service is not good, don’t get me wrong, everyone was fantastic, but there are details you would expect to get from a hotel that charges more than 500€ per night for their cheapest room. I.e. room service dishes left out of the room for days, or not being briefed on the resort nor on our room apart from receiving a short explanation at the reception. Restaurant and experiences prices are quite high as well. But the overall environment is outstanding and just because of that I would probably come back!

Awful, truly awful. There was a complete lack of hospitality for Chinese guests. Just getting to the island involved a 45-minute boat trip, then a 45-minute car ride, with significant waiting periods in between. The service was terrible; they completely ignored Chinese customers. The food was abysmal and ridiculously overpriced. We spent 3000 MYR on meals over three days, and the quality was shockingly poor. Even breakfast was bad. This is, hands down, the worst island I have ever visited.

The hotel itself and it's location was great. The weather was sunny, making the water activity do-able and nice. Thanks for the hardworking lifeguard at the beach and attentive restaurant waiter/waitress. However, the service at the reception and manager handling a paid room upgrade should be improved further for a better guest experience. Not a 5-star experience. Lol. Hope they can improve on the communication and better room coordination. Marriott/Shangrila will do this in a much better way. Maybe it's me who put higher expectation on Taaras Is this resort deserve a repeat? Maybe NO. Anyway tq for the experience

Had a great stay with Taaras resort. The view is perfect and I sleep well every night with the waves sound. Have balcony with nice view too.Friendly to smoker. The bed and pillow are comfortable and clean. Whole environment is warm.I stay alone in the large room but I don’t feel creepy at all.Just feel like home. Beach,foods,service,all perfect. staffs all friendly and nice.

beach water and location were amazing. As was Hamdan our concierge. Italian and indian restaurant the bomb and some of the best we have tried. That being said, resort is tired, rooms vary and need updating and staff required further training on hospitality. If you are looking for excellent water beach, sand then it's great but it's not an overall 5 * resort.

Firstly we got dropped at the redang island resort jetty. Taaras resorted picked us up no problem and took us to the hotel. The hotel itself was in general very tired. The pics need updating on the booking platforms. The service was terrible because no body spoke English even to a minimal standard so getting information back and forth was extremely difficult. The cost to what you got for it was miles apart. In terms of value for money. The weather was terrible two days out of three for us so that made it even worse. The breakfast was average at best. The restaurant at night sold Italian and Indian and both were tasty but very expensive.

All staff greeted us with big smiles and excellent services. Food is ok, room is huge. Beach is very pretty with soft white sand. But nothing outside of the hotel. Just enjoy the facility, beach and activities with hotel recreation desk.
