We had a great stay at Blu Galapagos! I liked that the location was a bit outside of the main commercial area of Puerto Ayora, in a good way... Very short walk to the heart of town. Even though most of the room descriptions list a queen bed, our room had a california king bed; if the picture looks like a king it is. Breakfast in the morning was perfect and delicious Galapagos coffee available all day was a treat.

Full of wood and areas to relax (reading area, relaxing area, tea area). Very kind people. We had a very nice (and expensive) room with sea view. Unfortunately, the room was close to the restaurant and we could hear noises of people talking and music until late at night. I had to put on my ear plugs to sleep. Be careful when booking to ask for a room which is far away from the restaurant. Bathroom could be better compared to the price of the Hotel.

We had a great stay at Blu Galapagos. Loved the location and our room was perfect - Great view, well maintained and had a king bed. Even if the description says queen bed and the picture looks like a king, you can trust the picture. Morning breakfast with iguanas and seals, and all day Galapagos coffee availability made this stay special.

The hotel location is close enough to what you would like to see or walk to and yet far enough away that it is peaceful and quiet. The room I had was spacious and cleaned daily. The staff was very helpful and available to answer your questions. The rooms face the bay, some completely and others partly. There is a good restaurant attached to the property and many shops, restaurants and tour offices within walking distance.

Our stay at Blu Galapagos Sustainable Waterfront Lodge was truly unforgettable. The on-site restaurant, Almar by Isla Grill, offered delicious international cuisine with stunning ocean views. The cocktails were expertly crafted, and the variety of dishes catered to all tastes. The serene waterfront setting, combined with the hotel's commitment to sustainability, made for a perfect retreat. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Galapagos!

Wonderful hotel. Our room was incredible. We stayed in Darwin. But there was no hot water for 2/3 of our stay. All we were able to get out of them was a free breakfast one day. I would have expected a significant discount given this lacking amenity

Great location and lovely Eco Lodge!
Our stay was amazing and the place is lovely! We arrived in Santa Cruz on our first day and spent a night at Blu Galapagos and on our last day, spent our final night there. Our second night we asked for an upgrade with an ocean view and it was absolutely beautiful. The restaurant that is not associated with hotel, but is on location was one of the best meals we had on our trip and the view is right on the water and you can see sharks and raise and fish swimming while dining. The staff was very friendly and accommodating and I would definitely return there.
