"What a gorgeous place to stay in Procida We had a wonderful room with a large terrace and the most incredible view. Simona was so help before we arrived with my numerous requests and Barbara on reception was so helpful our whole stay. Il Pescatore restaurant was perfect Paradise, Pascal and Patricia were just amazing to us and the food is excellent as is the setting right on the water. The island is breathtaking from the views, beaches, restaurants and we can wait to return to San Michele."

"The hotel is near the sea, on Chiaiolella Beach, which is a 200-meter walk from the hotel. The port is about 3 km away; we took a taxi to the hotel, but it can also be reached by bus; the bus stop is 50 meters away. We had a ground-floor room with tall windows. It's small and furnished with the bare necessities—quite basic, I'd say—but clean and welcoming, in keeping with the style of Procida. Breakfast was good, especially the sweet treats (coffee and cappuccino can be ordered from the vending machine or at the bar, which is a significant plus). All the hotel staff were friendly."

"Beautifully appointed and elegant. You will love staying here, it is a luxurious room with everything you could want. Beautiful bathroom and computable bed. The host is accomodating and welcoming. He assists you on arrival and shared ideas about restaurants, beaches and trips. He carefully lays out a generous breakfast and includes your tastes. The room is serviced daily and the A/C is effective to ensure a comfortable nights rest. We went to three great beaches and walked the streets of this beautiful fishing village. "Most unhelpful and unwelcoming hotel staff since 40 years of travelling through Italy. Every question for information was met with a flat rejection. Not one friendly word or gesture. Breakfast was tedious. It is a shame since the rooms, garden and pool are impeccable. This could be a fine hotel."

"As a Procida native, I've never been to the restaurant due my work, but I'm still curious. The opportunity arose, and I have to say everything was perfect. From the lemon salad (a must) to the first courses, to the wines, to the service. They've created a true Slow Food Presidium, and I'm truly pleased about that. I recommend the restaurant to anyone who wants to deep immerse themselves in local traditions, free from the burdens of the past."

"Charming, rustic hotel in keeping with the island itself. Very clean, fresh towels and beds made daily. We loved our room and terrace area in the garden. Pool cleaned daily but not very warm at this time of year. Nice fresh breakfast. A couple of things to note: we left our key intentionally one day and couldn’t get back in on our return at 8.30pm. An emergency contact number had been left on reception (inside the building) but not on the door. Fortunately another resident let us in. So take your key with you! We visited first week in Oct, apparently this is midge season, beware as your room is surrounded by a lovely garden and we found it difficult to venture out come evening time without being eaten alive! Island advise- explore a little by foot if possible, the islands public buses are great but in actual fact you may find that you could have walked it in less time than the bus takes! There’s a delightful rustic little deli /cafe a few hundred yards left of the hotel (past the church) highly recommend."
