During our staying we could use the kitchen quite well. The dining area and resting area are big and has wide open view of the outside landscape.

Nice place, very quiet and good location. Best for families as rooms are well equipped for that.

For the price, was decent, beds were slightly uncomfortable but bearable, toilet seat had marks on it, the shower kept filling the bathtub up, made for a slightly unpleasant shower, and the lightning in the room was slightly dimmer than I would like. Other than that, friendly and welcoming staff, good location

The breakfast is horrible. There are no words to describe how bad it can be: No variety, no replacement, no adequate equipment, trash can overflowing with flies... in short, a disgrace!
Otherwise, ok.

Family hotel, well located (15 minutes walk from the beach and the town centre, 5 minutes by car), well equipped (2 swimming pools, tennis and padel courts), well secured and a pleasant environment. Friendly staff. The studios are practical and spacious, recently renovated. Perfect off-season stay!

Staff unprofessional. Hair founded in the food, upon arrival at midnight we requested a bottle of water as we arrived at midnight straight from the airport and we were denied although we have booked all inclusive, very rude the staff that were always asking the room number when we were plating our meals, made us feel like we were stealing the food, €150 deposit required that was not stated nowhere and we had to stay for more than 20 minutes upon arrival to discuss about this matter at reception and negociate the amount to pay. In the end we were allowed to accommodate but we did felt humiliated. Next morning when I woke up I had to made photos with the room things that were damaged so that they would not claim anything from us…later show them upon check out. Food was acceptable, but the staff was constantly watching you when plating and distressed us with their requests of the room number I would not recommend this to anyone and we wouldn’t come back definitely. In the future I would advise you to give to the guests a few bottles of water, especially for those that booked all inclusive, made us feel terrible when you denied such a simple request at midnight.

Our recent stay at Clube VilaRosa was regrettably far from satisfactory, and we feel it is important to share our experience to inform other prospective guests—particularly female travellers. Upon arrival, we were unexpectedly required to pay a €150 deposit, which had not been disclosed at the time of booking. Although we were issued a receipt confirming the refund, the amount has yet to be returned to our bank account over a week later, despite follow-up attempts. The all-inclusive offering was inconsistent. On several days, there were no snacks available between meals, and desserts frequently ran out without replenishment. The overall quality of the food was subpar. Entertainment appeared to be catered exclusively to French and German guests, with no consideration for English-speaking visitors. As a group of women, we also felt distinctly uncomfortable due to the presence of permanent residents whose apartments overlooked the pool area. On multiple occasions, we experienced unwelcome attention and interactions from these individuals. The location itself did not feel particularly safe. Access to the beach or the nearby strip required crossing a flyover, which we did not feel comfortable doing—especially during evening hours. Staff interactions were largely disappointing. The reception staff were often unhelpful and dismissive. Our accommodation lacked several amenities that had been advertised and paid for, and there was no lift or assistance provided when carrying luggage up multiple flights of stairs. Furthermore, the behaviour of some bar staff was inappropriate. Rather than offering courteous service, they were overly familiar and flirtatious, which created an unprofessional and uncomfortable environment. In summary, our stay at Clube VilaRosa fell well below expectations. Due to the various service failures, lack of safety, and uncomfortable atmosphere, we cannot recommend this property—particularly to groups of women.

If this hotel can't cater for all inclusive then pack it up. Nothing on site for disabled people. Food shocking pool good. Only entertainment if you speak French. Stairs everywhere. Arrival no drinks no coffee no anything . No help dragging suitcases over cobbled stone up 3 flight of slate spiral staircases no hand rails. Taking walking boot. Whole place needs TLC beds old and uncomfortable. Totally disappointed. Pool out side our apartment bar not open. Had to walk quiet a distance just to get a drink. Beach don't bother if you can't climb back up. Totally not for anyone with disabilities or walking issues.

Utter Disappointment – A Waste of Time and Money I expected a relaxing all-inclusive holiday at this hotel. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a frustrating and disappointing experience I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. Check-in and Check-out: Although I received my room before the official 4:00 PM check-in time, I wasn’t given the all-inclusive wristband until exactly 4:00 PM – no access to food or drinks (not even water) before that. On the day of departure, wristbands are removed at 11:00 AM, so if your flight is later, you’ll have to pay for everything yourself. The hotel also charges a €150 deposit, which was only refunded two days after I returned home. Rooms: Room quality is a gamble – you might get a decent apartment with a balcony (as I did), but you could just as easily end up in a tiny attic room with a small window. No kettle, no dish soap (available at reception for €5), no pool towels. Virtually no toiletries – just a cheap 2-in-1 shower gel/shampoo I didn’t dare use. The bathroom had a tub with a sticky shower curtain that clings to your body. Cleaning and towel replacement only every other day. Food: The food was simply terrible. Breakfasts were poor – vegetables looked like they’d been chopped with an axe, scrambled eggs were mushy, and the toaster barely worked. Lunches and dinners were flavorless; the meat was often undercooked, and the pasta was always overcooked. Themed dinners were a joke: Mexican night – not a single dish tasted remotely Mexican. Italian night – the lasagna turned into a soupy mess, ravioli stuck together in a lump, and tiramisu melted into a puddle within 15 minutes. Portuguese night – grilled food was prepared an hour before dinner, stored in the kitchen, and then served later. The taste? Awful. Drinks and bar: The coffee from the machine was undrinkable, the cups were dirty, and the two daily alcoholic cocktails were pre-mixed in large plastic jugs and often watered down with tap water. If you want a proper drink, you’ll have to pay €8.50. Alcohol is supposedly served until 11:00 PM, but by 10:50 PM, staff stop serving. Facilities and service: The bar is located inside the dining hall – if you’re at the pool and want a drink, you need to dry off and get dressed first. Staff were gloomy. There were no ashtrays – guests were given bowls that were later used to serve fruit. Sun loungers were dirty and often covered in bird droppings, with no cleaning. The pool was full of leaves, and the pool bar was closed. Entertainment was dull, entirely in French, and uninspired. No daytime activities whatsoever. The average guest age was 60+, so younger travelers will be bored out of their minds. Pros? Clean room, vanity table, bidet, large mirror, and spacious wardrobes – but these few positives don’t make up for the many downsides. Conclusion: I don’t recommend this hotel. It’s not worth your time or money. There are definitely better options in the area that actually respect their guests.

Clean hotel and apartment. Going in October meant the pool area was quiet. But that’s about the best of it, the apartment had two single beds that were too short for both me and my wife, the mattresses were rock hard and the pillows were paper thin, glad we only stayed 3 nights. We went all inclusive but went out for food and drinks due to the terrible options for drinks and food. The apartments are not equipped for anyone choosing self catering. There is no way that place could cope when it’s high season. Mainly French and British people there, most staff speak French and struggle to speak English. The receptionist speak good English. I would not recommend this hotel.

Very basic. Food is Luke warm, limited choice, but great salad bar. Entertainment virtually non existent unless you are French. Patio door lock broken, had to report it twice, finally repaired after 2 days. Felt unsafe being on the ground floor and not able to lock the door. Bar staff all lovely. Pool cold. Lovely beaches.

Clean well kept villas, gardens and pool. Friendly staff. 2nd time been here and love it. Will definatly stay again in the future. Quiet peaceful surroundings. Close enough to walk to main strip but far enough away to not hear the hustle and bustle.
