We have stayed at Grovefield several times over a period of years so was happy to return but sadly booked online and not directly with the hotel. This is a long established family business and everytime you book online and not direct they obviously have to pay a proportion of the booking to the booking company. It’s a comfortable B&B easily accessible to town, the beach and places to eat. Varying size rooms but all have tea, coffee, biscuits, water and wash accessories in clean surroundings. Parking. Breakfast is continental but has serials, porridge, fresh berries, jams, cheeses, freshly made toast, tea and coffee and juices. All you need for a breakfast. Thank you for the stay and I’m happy to recommend.

Breakfast disappointing
My husband was disappointed that they didn't offer a cooked breakfast. The room was clean and well presented. It did have a very noisy floor, squeaky.

La chambre est juste magnifique, il n’y a rien dire sur la propreté, c’est impeccable !
Le lit est très confortable et la salle de bain est grande, avec une douche spacieuse.
Nous avons été très bien accueillies. Le personnel est sympathique.
Le petit déjeuner est très bon.

Elegant
The room was all tastefully decorated in silver and sparkles. Quite a pretty surprise! The gentleman running it was delightful.
It was in easy walking distance to the beach …about 5 minutes at slow speed.
Beach was lovely.
