The location and accommodation is incredible nice and can only be highly recommend. The grarden, the roomd, the breakfast everything was pure joy. One of the nicest places I ever stayed in (and I know a lot of nice places).

This small hotel is amazing just north on the towns main road perfect for shops and anything you wish to do.The owners were very courteous and helpful.We had a beautiful courtyard room with all you need.The rooms were immaculate and spotless.We will definitely return Our visit was brilliant.

My husband and I received a two night stay here as a gift from our children … what a delight! A very warm welcome received on arrival and by every staff member. It’s in a great setting, just on the edge of the town centre, so lovely and tranquil ( easy walk into the centre) Our room was overlooking the courtyard, with a great window seat. Room was light and spacious and everything was spotless. Breakfast was exceptional with the best ingredients ( whisky porridge devoured with relish by hubby as was my sultana honey one!) A stunning guest lounge was a bonus on our return in the evenings. It overlooked a magnificent garden and patio area. Overall we couldn’t fault anything, a truly relaxing stay. Thank you

My wife and i added a pitstop to Pitlochry so we could go walk up Ben Vrackie. We stayed at Craigatin House and had the most delightful visit. The room was perfect for our needs (the bed is extremely comfortable) and a decent hot shower post a long walk. The star of the show was the Whisky Porridge in the morning for breakfast. We cant wait to visit again next year

Beautiful place with a real personal touch with how it welcomes and looks after guests. Rooms were lovely and immaculate. Host was really friendly and attentive. Dining for breakfast was first class and staff were great. Grounds are lovely and perfect location for Pitlochry and surrounding area. This place is a real gem

What an absolutely lovely hotel, we stayed from 12th August 2025 to the 14th August 2025 and I have to say it was absolutely delightful. I can’t praise Graig the owner and the staff at this hotel enough. They were so polite, friendly and helpful, Graig met us on our arrival and we had a chat and a laugh before we were showed to our room. The hotel is located in a lovely picturesque spot and within easy walking distance from Pitlochry. I have to say the breakfast was one of the best we’ve had, so much choice and absolute quality products. Overall we had a really pleasant stay and yes we would without doubt definitely return to this lovely hotel if we ever visit Pitlochry again. One point I want to mention is on departure I left my electric toothbrush charger in our room and Craig phoned me to say that he will post it onto our home address. Small things like this make a big difference so a big thank you to Craig and his staff for a really enjoyable stay in his lovely hotel!

This is the only excellent review I have ever given! Craigatin House is perfect for your stay in Scotland! The rooms are beautiful and well equipped, the breakfast!! oh my!! absolutely great!! You have to have the whisky porridge and the full Scottish breakfast - completely sets you up for the day. The dining room/ conservatory/lounge is lovely and the garden and outdoor seating area is gorgeous. It's on the edge of the town so very quiet, but is only a 10 minute walk into town. We were only there for 2 nights and was sad to leave, but I am definitely booking this hotel/guesthouse again. The staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient, nothing is too much trouble for them. Pitlochry itself is fab - treat yourself to the Whisky Distillery tour and go to Blair Castle. It's approx an hour and 20 mins drive to Balmoral (beautiful scenic drive) so we did that on our last day. This is a great base for sightseeing in Scotland and I can't wait to return!

From the time we arrived to the day we left the staff and the owner could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We had breakfast each morning which was varied and well prepared. A lovely hotel, with some little "touches" which made our stay even more enjoyable. A 10 minute walk to the centre of the town. Would certainly recommend
