My wife and I stayed two nights here this week and I cannot praise it highly enough. A family run business, they are in the process of upgrading the hotel but apart from the sparky' s van parked outside, you would never know. On the surface it looks a traditional Scottish hotel with tartan carpets etc but our room was very modern. Spacious, clean, well decorated, with a fantastic view of the surrounding countryside. The customer service was faultless with highly attentive , friendly staff especially the young guy who chatted to us at breakfast. The attached Indian restaurant served high quality food which you would probably not find in traditional Indian restaurants. For example the bread pakora I had as a starter was certainly something I have never seen elsewhere but was delicious. And the chicken biryani I had as a main was enough for two or three people and was tasty . They also do gluten free dishes so my wife had a good range of options . The hotel also has a bar, which specialises in many flavours of gin so again my wife was happy with that too! You can sit outside with your drink in the garden terrace and look at the beautiful countryside or watch the sun go down. Peaceful and quiet despite being situated on the main road into Pitlochry The hotel itself is only a ten minute walk into Pitl.ochry itself . I cannot recommend the Craigvrack highly enough and would love to go back sometime. The two night stay including breakfast was under £190 which I thought was very reasonable.

Hi we had randomly booked the hotel, looking at price and location - and came as a very pleasant surprise, that this was owned and run by Indians. Some of the finest Indian food we had, along with great service, nice rooms. And yes a decent location. Extremely well maintained, peaceful, lovely place. We stayed there for a day, tempted to stay there for a day more. Though we couldnt as had journey planned ahead. Very clean and well maintained. With no disturbance, no noise. Super Stay
