Athenarum Portus Life & Style Hotel

The room was nice. We booked a family room for three adults, but it turned out to be a king-size room connected to a twin room, which exceeded our expectations. The decor was thoughtful and the overall comfort and warmth were excellent, but the elevator was small and there was only one. The shower easily overflowed into the room, which needs improvement. The area surrounding the hotel is an old harbor neighborhood, mostly small shops with little to see, so most tourists were probably just stopping for a rest. The breakfast selection was limited, featuring local Greek food. The service was patient and attentive, and our request for extra blankets was promptly addressed. We arrived early and tired, so we requested an early check-in. We were supposed to check in at 3:00 AM, but they quickly cleaned the room and checked in at around 1:00 AM. Thank you very much! There's a lounge area in front of the hotel, which was very comfortable with a nice breeze. The hotel also provided tea and snacks at the front desk, which were quite delicious. There's also a local Greek restaurant nearby, which serves delicious and exquisite food.
