Cozy 2-bedroom cottage with WiFi and AC in pleasant Pigeon Forge - On the River!

Cottage was a perfect size for our family of 3 adults and 2 kids! Very clean with plenty of towels (look in chest in bedroom), just needs more eating utensils ( only 3 forks) had to get some plastic wear. Minor problems for a wonderful stay!! Hope to stay here again 😊

Check in was easy…. Musty smell when we walked in….. bathroom super small with only 2 towels for 4 people…. Didn’t realize that a dresser in main bedroom was full of towels until night before we left…wasn’t labeled…. Tubs faucet was loose and tub wasn’t draining properly so messaged owner with no response….Kitchen had 3 forks for 4 people… need more furniture to accommodate up to 8 people (house holds 8 guests ) Communication with owner was horrible.. she never responded to me with our concerns but at-least she knew about them.. great location for attractions..home was updated cosmetically inside… back porch needs better lighting… house needs gutters.. nothing but rain when we stayed and no gutters …. overall price not bad… easy to hook up to WiFi and decent channels for TV…I probably will not book it again due to no communication

Check in was fairly easy. When we got there the WiFi was not working and tried to get in touch with owner and response time was horrible. When we got there the garden hose was stretched out. Total trip hazard for littles. Bunk room tv was messed up. Absolutely no cartoons for children and back deck had screws popping up that snagged our feet. No dish washer soap no trash bag to take our trash out. Very old but well updated. Beautiful creek view. Big ant problem. Traffic all hours was horrible.

Had a faint odor as if it has been smoked in at some point, but not strong…could just be age. It’s RIGHT IN TOWN. That can be a pro or a con depending on what you’re looking for in your stay. We didn’t spend much time in the cottage as we had plans all day every day, so it worked well for what we needed. Great price!

Great location Overall this was a good place to stay if you’re looking for closeness and no amenities. The house does smell musty and is in need of a new roof. It’s not exactly as pictured on the outside. Needs a mirror in one of the bedrooms and more seating in the living room. Bathroom toilet area is tiny and awkward. Outlets need to be changed in several places as most cords don’t stay in them. Lacking outdoor lighting on the back porch, the post lights are not bright. Property was pretty clean, and as described in the listing. Needs better communication about WiFi access and how to use the entry lock on the front door. They all operate differently. The code I was sent in the email to access the house was not the correct one. Realized it was sent in the messages only because I was trying to get a hold of the host who didn’t answer my call nor could I leave a message because her voicemail box was full. If you are looking for basic at a decent price and great location this property is for you.
