Novotel Hotels in Phuket

We were here on a family trip for three nights and chose this hotel as it is advertised as kids friendly. The brand not only did not meet the minimum standards, the service and staff was very bad. 1. We were checking in late at 7 pm and when I sent the email about the same, the guy responded with entire information about check out 2. Rooms were comfortable but few basic amenities were missing or not functioning 3. There is 1 small lift for 5 storeys with capacity of 5 people! And lift was not working for 4-5 hours and had to carry my baby all the way up to 5th floor multiple times. 4. Kids play area is very average and when we requested for play station remotes the staff kept on using delaying tactics instead of giving a straight answer 5. Worst was the breakfast buffet and food experience. Food and desserts is very average. There is hardly anything for vegetarians and usually at all hotels they make something where vegetarian food isn’t available. At Novotel, we weren’t given this option and when requested staff rudely said no, except on one occasion. 6. Water play area is good 7. Shuttle service to kata beach is available but no information is provided before hand.

We had a great stayed at your hotel and would like to thank to all crew members from Novotel Vintage, everything is perfect, love the cooling lobby, everyone is wearing a smile to welcome us, we feel so warm just like back home. Front desk lady named Front is really helpful, lady at lounge named Palm made me nice Margarita too, I really appreciate the house keeping who arranged the day bed for my kid, and I'm so thrilled with the birthday decoration and lovely cake,,it truly made my day after my whole day island hopping, many thanks to all of u, we will definitely be back again for our next trip. I highly recommend this hotel. Location is great and there have a lot of restaurants near hotel. Hotel is near the beach. And responsibility is so great. My son broken the cup in hotel room. But we don’t need to pay for that. They didn’t make a change for this. Really appreciate for that. Thanks again and this is a great hotel. But one thing is not good, that is we can hear doors closing sound from next room.Soundproof system is not good. Only that one but other is really nice. Great 👍

The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The balcony and its views are the best feature of the room. The roof top garden also has great views and a charming atmosphere. Breakfast was ok; their ‘eggs Benedict tom yum’ was amazing. Very polite staff. I’d gladly stay here again

Not recommended for young families or Snr travellers. 1.Bath / Shower combo. However bath is so high you have hang on to the towel rack to prevent slipping when exiting the shower. 2. Worst pillows I have ever experienced in more than 20 years of travel. 3. Hotel is located 6kms from Patong so the younger party types rtn between 2..5am in the morning. With no carpets in the hall walls and poor inter room sound proofing it results in a poor night's sleep. Lucky we only booked for two nights but would not consider a return stay
