"I love this place! The staff are very accommodating and are very friendly and helpful. They have arranged and serve our breakfast earlier than their regular schedule to accomodate us as our flight is early and their breakfast starts at 8:30am, so we really appreciate it. The view and ambience is very homey. They have a private beach and we spent most of our time chilling at their beach bar. Very nice place! Perfect for those who love to stay away from the hustle and bustle and for those who prefer a slow and peaceful stay. I love their support for sustainability. Rooms are super spacious and clean. I love our room’s sunbed area as it has a spectacular view of the beach. Would love to come back."

"The staff are very friendly and try to help where possible. The view from restaurant from the pool are very nice, especially at night. The dish pad thai is delicious. The location is on a hill, a bit away from any city or nightlife.. u can walk down in 5-10 mins to a major road where there r some shops.. for me lovation was good as only stayed 2 days and wanted to be close to ethical elephant sanctuary and marina for tour to James Bond island and airport (40 mins with traffic) The room (i had a mountain facing one) is very outdated and feels very basic. Not worth the money compared to other places ard the same price."

"I booked a hotel casually before leaving for Thailand, but I didn't expect that this hotel was very cost-effective. As soon as I stepped into the hotel lobby, the design of the lobby was modern and warm, and the room was unexpectedly clean, which was in sharp contrast to the old hotel I stayed in before. [Warm and thoughtful service] The hotel staff made me feel the hospitality and friendliness of the Thai people. In particular, the boss personally took me to appreciate the local bar street culture. "The accommodation is close to many tourist spots, including important temples on the opposite side. Comfortable, although the place is a bit old and stuffy. GGoldenpiggiesThe view from the room was truly lovely. It was wonderful to have privacy, as both the room and the bathroom faced the sea—this was an important factor in choosing this hotel. The sea view was definitely the highlight of the experience. It was visible from almost everywhere in the hotel, and the teppanyaki restaurant, Gin, was exceptional. The chef was friendly, personable, and professional. The food was of good quality, and one of the older, elegant Thai-Chinese ladies providing service stood out, especially since the other staff members were less pleasant during our dining experience. We left feedback with their names in their internal feedback. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the quality of the room and the air conditioning, which was a significant letdown, as well as the variety and overall spread of the breakfast.

LLai Kuan SoongWe travelled in a group of 10 as a family with 2 senior citizens to celebrate a family event. Was disappointed during check in that the hotel accommodated and separated us in different buildings. However through negotiations and appeals the matter was resolved satisfactorily. Appreciated for the effort of the front desk! A great resort, staff are friendly and attentive, breakfast with lots of varieties. Our family members enjoyed the trip. The location is a bit far from town, took us about an hour to Patong town.

IIvan KraljEven if it ended with a nice gesture, the receptionist handing me a keychain gift (not sure if they do that with all guests), with a written request to leave 10/10 review, sadly I couldn't ignore the shortcomings of this hostel that seemed like just a downgraded version of Marco Polo Poshtel (not sure which one came first, but from breakfast to ”funny” wall messages, there was a similar ”creative” signature). While I was initially attracted by reviews mentioning hostel's cleanliness, I couldn't say I shared the same opinion. Certain public areas were quite messy. The staircase to the first floor (where shoes are forbidden) didnt seem to be cleaned for some time. In the showers (which had a good water pressure), there was mold. None of the three handsoap dispensers in the only bathroom had soap in them. It just felt the staff doesnt have time or organizational skills to maintain everything in working order. But I was mostly surprised by finding a not clean (i dont want to call it ”used”) bed cover in my bed. It had some fresh stains, hair and crumbles (well, not just on bed cover), and seemed just to be folded after the guest before me (even the folding seemed messed up, so i really thought maybe the bed was forgotten). When I asked the housekeeping to change it, they initially approved. The younger housekeeper started changing everything, sheet included (which i believe is a good way to do it, when it is not certain if the bed was completely changed), but when the older one returned, she made her put the sheet back (the sheet that was thrown on the floor in the meantime), laughing all along. No, that wasnt really funny. Then instead of letting the young housekeeper put on the new bed cover she brought along, i noticed that the older one brought something that seemed to be the same old bed cover that i complained about (the duvet was already inside). When i asked if that is a new thing, she was convincing me it was. Already at that moment, i felt ridiculed. But i said, ”okay, if you say so.” After all was done, i came back to my bed, unfolded the bed cover and confirmed my doubt - all this performance of changing the bed, without them changing anything! The only difference was that the bedsheet was also on the floor in the meantime. This got me really frustrated, mostly because they lied to my face (what for?), and mostly because they invested energy in ”changing” everything while actually just stripping everything off and returning it (why? It takes the same amount of energy to do it for real). Feeling like an *****, i asked what seemed to be the problem? Dont they have clean bedding, or what? But they had. I asked them to give it to me then, and i would happily prepare the bed myself. Which they accepted. Lol. I dont know, with that poor breakfast, the visual mess, unpleasant ”toilet” scent at hostel entrance, and generally low level of cleanliness (you can see how yellow the pillow is once you remove the pillow case yourself), it felt that other reviews mentioning spotless hygiene were misleading. Or were my standards too high? In any case, i stayed in a dozen of Phuket hostels during my month here, but none of them tried to insult my intelligence. There are better places, and no, Dorm Hostel sadly doesnt deserve 10/10, to quote the request they tell everyone at check-out. I also tried to leave them space for hostel improvement, so instead of lowest marks, i left average ones, even if the experience was truly below average. P.S. When a guest asks whether a ferry with a pick-up operates everywhere in Phuket, a genuinely helpful answer would be ”yes”. And not ”no, it's only our hostel's pickup”. I understand everyone just tries to earn money, but it shouldn't be done by misleading guests who just trustfully ask for information.

GGuest UserThis trip I have reserved one room with 3 beds for my family and hotel upgraded us to a suite room with 2 Big beds with a living room which was a surprise to us . Room size no doubt is spacious enough, room to breakfast area is within 1 min walking distance😙 Breakfast area is spacious , food have varieties to choose from. Hotels have 3 pools for you to enjoy. Bowling is also available which provides more fun during your stay. Staffs are efficient , there was an incident about the air condition in room when we came back from dinner, they quickly asked the engineering staff to come to fix it right away. We appreciated of their response and assistance 👍🏼👍🏼

Park your bike opposite the hotel. It's safe! We parked there for a week. Staff was super nice and friendly. The room has an old smell but it's clean. We brought our room spray. So it's all good. The bed was nice and room was super cosy. We definitely will come again to this hotel..!

SSamuel HandWe had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Our daughter loved the pool and loved playing in the 'Kids World'. The facilities are excellent, for example there is a good-sized gym with plenty of equipment, and a restaurant with lots of choice. The breakfast is delicious. I would strongly recommend this hotel. It is also only a short walk away from the beach. In the interest of balance, I would just like to mention a few things that could be improved upon. 1. The room did not look like the advertisement photos on the booking website. The staff were very helpful and added some things to make it a closer resemblance. However, the photo of the one bedroom family suite shows lots of toys and extra items in the room that are in fact not included. There is a bunk bed and a kids tent. 2. The local area is quite expensive. Due to there being no 7 eleven nearby and the northern part of Kamala being quite relaxed, the prices of things in the local shops are pretty high. I would advise to get a ride to the nearest 7 eleven as soon as you arrive and stock up on supplies! These 2 things are small in comparison to the great things this hotel has to offer. We had an amazing time. We want to thank the staff for a lovely holiday!
