I truly loved this hotel!! And would come back here once more. The direct enter to the beach, three pools, free sport classes for guests. I went to Muai Thai boxing class and really enjoyed it. There is panoramic view gym and great breakfasts! The staff is also very kind and supportive. I would say it’s one of the best hotels in Bangtao beach😍 Highly recommend to take the room with the pool access. Also there is a coop restaurant Nora which belongs to the hotel. Try lobster ravioli there, I loved it for 100%. There are many deck chairs on the beach, so you don’t need to worry and come early to occupy in advance.

I enjoyed my stay here! Although not a beach resort, the room and common areas were spotless, and the whole building felt well cared for. It seems a new building. The pool was perfect for relaxing, and the buffet breakfast had enough options to start the day right. Overall, a very pleasant experience—I’d happily come back!

The hotel was very nice and the service was excellent. The reservation and hotel staff were great and it was perfect for a family trip.

I was completely blown away when I first stepped foot in the lobby. The resort is stunning! Clean and looks luxurious.Further away from the crowded beaches. So it was peaceful and calm. Good for relaxing. The breakfast buffet each morning had a variety of things to choose from, a mix of Western and Thai food. The resort is also located on a beach so we could choose to make use of the beach or the swimming pools.

We absolutely loved the hotel, the room, swimming pools and delicious breakfasts! The front desk is always polite and ready to help:) The only thing we didn’t like is that gym works till 7 pm.. would be nice if they extend working time 🙈

The hotel has a great location — right by the beach and not too far from the airport, which made getting there really convenient. The room was newly renovated and decent in size, but it still felt a bit dated in some areas.

Overall good environment. Toilet was a bit old but acceptable. Room was new and fairly clean.

From the moment we arrived, Amora turned our trip around. After a frustrating experience at another property, the team at Amora kindly fit us into their last two available rooms—and we couldn’t have been more grateful. Chaimars greeted us with warm smiles, made check-in effortless, and even offered cool towels and refreshing coconut drinks to help us unwind. Our room was spacious, spotless, and perfectly appointed for our family. Every morning we looked forward to breakfast at Isla Restaurant—fresh, high-quality dishes that set the tone for the day. The entire Isla team went above and beyond, especially to celebrate my birthday. Their genuine warmth made the occasion feel extra special. Our boys spent hours splashing in the pool, and I appreciated the clean, well-equipped gym for a quick workout. The only downside was a single visit to Nora Beach Club, where the food and service didn’t measure up to the rest of the hotel—Isla remains our top dining choice. One small suggestion: an earlier room cleaning schedule would be ideal. Overall, Amora delivered exceptional service, lovely amenities, and true hospitality. We left with happy memories and fully intend to return on our next trip. Thank you, Amora team!

Amazing ambience, very accessible to the beach, Isla is a very good restaurant, we can stay in this hotel all day.

Such a mixed bag… our room was spacious, clean and well equipped, besides the fact that there was a night stand and plug on only one side of the bed (don’t both people deserve somewhere to place a drink or plug in their phone?!). However, we asked for a quiet room away from elevators, only to find we were right next to the kids pool and opposite some building work where guys were grinding and welding most of the day - not at all peaceful! Having booked a pool side room I would have anticipated having pool towels provided in our room. This wasn’t the case. There was a pool towel pick up around the pool opposite our room, however I never once saw an attendant on duty, and only once saw a pile clean towels available. We ended up having to go to one of the other pools to collect pool towels. There was also a pool bar near our room, however the in pool seating and sit up bar was on the other side of the pool! Not to mention that the sunken pool bar wasn’t an actual bar, just a place to order drinks and the wait staff would disappear off to a bar in the main building to get our drinks. We used this service twice and both times it took over 20 minutes to receive our drinks. Another example of missing the mark is that guests at a 5-star resort shouldn’t have to park in a dirt lot across the street. We also had rusty brown water coming out of the pipes in our bath tub. For a hotel advertised as 5-star these did not match expectations. We visited the beach once, but left when we were told there was a charge to use the ‘comfortable’ loungers nearest the bar swimming area. Despite being hotel guests we were told only the ‘less comfortable’ loungers further away from the bar were available free to hotel guests! charging for a cabana I understand, but a specific lounger is ridiculous! Finally, we had multiple power cuts during our stay. No warning, no explanation, no apology. One morning we had to call three times to get someone sent out to our room to reset a flipped breaker switch. Once again all power in our room went out as we packed to check out before dawn on our departure day. We had to use our phone flash lights and because of this left a couple of items behind which were difficult to see in the dark. While an item was retrieved by staff after we realized it was missing, we were then asked to pay for its return delivery. It was a small charge and the very least I could have expected in compensation for the inconvenience of all the power cuts. The best thing about the resort was the overall friendliness and willingness of the staff to provide good service. We ate at the beach bar and used room service several times and the food was excellent. A shout out to Tun in the outside bar and Pim in guest services - exceptional service and an enormous value to the resort. But unfortunately they are being let down by a property which doesn’t quite meet the 5-star standard it claims.

I hope it stays ‘hidden’ and quiet. The resort is clean and has ample food and beverage in various locations. Being on the beach is another bonus!
