Don't let the pictures fool you. I'm so disappointed! Stayed for two night and booked 2 rooms and both were very disappointing. One had a strong ********* odor another smelled like sweat and old. The pool was small and dirty as well. The room's leather furnitures' were peeling off as well. I will never book this hotel again.

We celebrated my sister’s birthday at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar over the weekend. It was a very enjoyable experience! The ambiance and beautiful atmosphere were top notch. I can’t say enough about the amazingly, scenic, rooftop pool area! There was a plethora of seating, complete with views, music, food and drinks. The entire staff were friendly and professional, however, I must say an employee by the name, of Ali stood out among the rest. He greeted us with a smile, had a pleasant disposition and helped us from start to finish without one complaint or frown. We were so thankful for his assistance accompanied by his attention to detail with our luggage and professionalism! We will definitely return.

The Kimpton is our go-to spot for downtown getaways, and it never disappoints! From the moment we arrive, the service is top-notch—from the friendly valet team to the welcoming front desk and the attentive pool bartenders. The rooms are always clean, updated, and comfortable. Even in the Arizona heat (we stayed in August!), the pool is cool and refreshing—such a great way to relax. Shoutout to Raul, our valet at checkout—he was speedy, professional, and made our departure seamless. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a stylish, comfortable, and well-run hotel in the heart of downtown.

Our stay at the Kimpton Downtown Phoenix was amazing! The hotel is beautiful. Every member of the staff was so friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to meet our every need. The rooftop pool was beautiful. Fabulous food and drinks. Cabana service was great. Every little touch like the coffee bar in the morning, free wine and beer bar in the afternoon, to the fruit infused water in the lobby made everything better. I would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend to anyone!

Location...atmosphere..vibe...amenities...all 5 Star...everything about this hotel is done right and with class. Where I wish you could give a higher rating is for the staff and service. Everyone from the front desk team, the folks serving complimentary wine in the evening and coffee in the mornings, the restaurant and bar hostess and servers, to the housekeeping staff...they couldn't have been any nicer or accommodating, and always with a big smile. That speaks volumes about the company culture and very high standards they uphold in my experience. And special acknowledgment goes to Sayan at the front desk. We were fortunate enough to see him both during check in and check. A true professional and someone who clearly loves what he does. I can't recommend this hotel enough. This will be our home away from home the next time we are in Phoenix!!
