This was a good visit. Check in went smooth and front desk people were very nice. The room still had a $5 tip sitting on the table, no coffee cups, 1 glass was missing it's little paper covering. The shower was a bit sketchy on if someone had used it and the iron was sitting out. I feel they cleaned the room and then someone used the room for a quick change. I really don't know. It was late, we were tired, so we told the front desk - they did offer to move our room - but the bed looked fine so we just stayed. Also in this room the toilet always looked like it was on the verge of overflowing. I would have someone check that out.
Breakfast was good and all the staff were very friendly.

Good stay, comfortable bed except the pillows uncomfortable I got stiff neck waking up in the morning. Breakfast good made to order eggs hot and fresh selection Mea and veggies you want at 7am. but they open 6am for breakfast ready sausage, bacon, potatoes and scrambled eggs.

This beautiful hotel was only 10 minutes away from my son. It is also easy walking distance to a very large upscale open mall and many restaurants including CheeseCake Factory. The center of the hotel has water features, green plants, alcoves for eating. Speaking of eating, the free breakfast had many selections and the woman who cooked 'made to order' omelettes did a great job. The pool area was very nice & well maintained. If I had to cite anything negative, the interior rooms are very dated. There are some things need to be addressed due to age, including the the rust in my tub and the re-finish that is cracked and peeling.

Embassy Suites Biltmore used to be our go-to staycation here in Phoenix. I think it has lost its' mojo since removing the koi pond. We stayed last night and the magic is gone, replaced with white rock and lots of maintenance needed on the property. It looks like they are trying but it seems to be a lost cause at this point. We are sad to say we will be looking elsewhere for weekend getaways.

1. You must let the shower run for at least 5 minutes before it begins to get warm. Our last morning I gave up because of time and took a cold shower. 2. The toilet would run 10-15 minutes after use. 3. The bathroom door would not close. 4. The gap between the drapes on each of the entry door allows for absolutely no privacy if sitting in the suite area. You can literally look into each room as you walk down the hallway. 5. After calling the hotel Prior to booking to ask if their construction was complete, (we were assured it was), At 5:00pm, when looking forward to enjoying a complimentary cocktail, we were greeted with construction. A shop vac running in the atrium constantly. 6. The light switch in our bedroom did not work. 7. We were attending a family funeral so did not exit the room until late morning, so our rooms were not refreshed that day. 8, when returning to our room at the end of the day and realizing the room had not been attended we asked for towels and coffee for our early departure the next morning. Towels were left in the room but the next morning we had to go get coffee pods. But, then we did not have coffee cups in order to make coffee. 9. The usb for charging did not work. The hotel IS NOT worth the $$.
