La Mer Bali Mui Ne

We booked a room for two nights and everything went well at first. On the last day, we wanted to add an extra night. The lady at the reception told us it was possible to book through the website, which we did. Then she informed us that it wouldn’t be the same room due to a price difference, which we understood. She said the new room was being cleaned and that we could leave our belongings in the current room in the meantime. We agreed and went out. When we returned, our belongings had been moved to the new room without our permission or even informing us, which we found very disrespectful. To make things worse, the new room smelled very bad and was damp, making our stay very uncomfortable. The reception staff didn’t take the situation seriously and even laughed on the phone (apparently with the manager), while we were clearly upset. We do not recommend this hotel, especially if you care about your personal belongings and a minimum level of comfort.
