Okko Rueil Malmaison is a great place with warm and welcoming staff. They go out of their way to ensure that your stay is comfortable. Nice little hotel in a convenient location for visiting Paris . On street parking for free at weekends otherwise 15 Euros for 24 hours in their underground car park. The reason why we chose to stay here was because it was much cheaper than a hotel with parking in central Paris . You then have to add back the time and monetary cost of commuting in and out of the centre of Paris from here . I think it was worth it but it was quite tiring wandering around Paris all day and then coming back to the hotel. With the walk to the station from the hotel assume about 35-40 minutes to get to a central location. Once you’re back in the hotel you’re not going to go back to central Paris so if you go back early because you are tired that’s it for the day whereas if you had a central room you could go back out in the evening after a rest . You wouldn’t choose to stay here as a tourist but for the savings. On one evening we drove to the centre of Rueil Malmaison for a meal- it was a pleasant low key alternative to dining in central Paris. It’s a 10-12 minute walk to the RER A station from the hotel . Just down the street and under a railway bridge. You get the train there and can change on to the metro system Once you are on the RER you can interconnect on the metro usually changing at Charles de Gaulle. It costs about 30 Euros return to go to the centre of Paris and back. But you can get 2,3 , 4 day passes that reduce this significantly and include journeys on the metro and buses once you’re in the centre . The hotel is close to a very busy dual carriageway which makes it easy to reach when you arrive in Paris by car. With you room window open you can hear the traffic noise but it didn’t bother us. The road the hotel is in is lined on both sides by fairly tall modern but well kept apartment and office blocks . At weekends it is very quiet , feels a bit like an empty office district. Not a bad thing , a bit sterile but it felt like you had escaped to a peaceful place. The whole area is quite commercial, with offices around, so the hotel caters to business people and tourists alike, The hotel staff are friendly. There was a warm welcome. The lobby doubles as a breakfast area and is funky and stylish. Nice ambience . The reception staff run a little bar there . Breakfast itself was a nice little buffet. A good spread of things - one personal suggestion for improvement would be please provide some little pots of fruit compotes , which we don’t get in the UK! But it was nice anyway and French. The family room was a fair size , not massive, not small, divided at night by a pull across curtain with twin beds for the kids and a double bed for the grown ups with a bathroom off it. There was a sizeable television on a sort of stand which could be rotated and put on either side of the curtain so kids or adults could watch it. The room and hotel were very clean. It felt like a well designed purpose built hotel designed by a company that understand

Very good, comfortable and quiet room with large TV, staff is friendly, everything is clean. Nothing to reiterate. I didn't try breakfast. The city centre (very beautiful) is not far. There is also a parking that I didn't try because I found a place (pay) just in front of the hotel.

The worst 3rd world experience. They overcharged me and when I tried to discuss the charges they all playing the run around game. Charged me for an infant in the room. I didn’t have a kid with me. (Like a 100 euros difference in taxes and fees) When I was leaving and asked for a taxi, the front desk guy called, what it seems the biggest taxi scammer in Paris. The guy overcharged me like 25 euros for the trip, blatantly claiming wrong mileage. My advice: AVOID THIS HOTEL LIKE THE PLAGUE If you make the mistake to book this hotel: 1. USE UBER….Don’t rely on them calling you a taxi (unless you have tons of extra euros to spend) 2. Check your invoice and question them on every single bogus charge you see. 3. Check carefully whether they have pulled a fast one with adding more people to your room just to charge you more. Overall, I’m disappointed in you, Novotel. You really added a very bad aftertaste to this trip. I’ll NEVER EVER book with you anymore. Your chain doesn’t exist to me anymore.

Our coach party , in Paris for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe , stayed in this hotel for three nights . The room was fine for an overnight stay but rather basically furnished , for example only one dining type chair . However the beds were comfortable and clean , and the room was quiet .Breakfast was good with plenty of choice . My friend particularly liked the cook your your own eggs gadget . Reception was friendly and efficient . The bathroom and shower were fine but housekeeping left a lot to be desired . We only had towels for one person and requests for more went unheeded . Just as well my friend always brings her own , in case of emergencies !

The location is not the best but it suited me in terms of purpose of my visit to Paris. Easy walking distance from Nanterre Ville RER Station. Hotel is spotless, room very comfortable. Vending machines in lobby with selection of confectionery, hot and cold soft drinks. Also ability to order various types of fast food locally and have it delivered to your room. Only minor issue was I found the shower floor quite slippy. Check in is 2pm. No option of early check in even if room might be ready. There's no bar to pass the time in if you arrive early so I'd suggest trying to arrive as close to 2pm as possible. They have chargeable secure off road parking facilities if you are travelling by car.

We have booked this hotel for six nights from Jun 24 , 2012. The room very calm but near the centre of Rueil and transportation to Paris. The location is particularly charming and pleasant:and surrounded by very good restaurants in the atmosphere perfect for a romantic dinner or a lunch in family/friends. Good value for money, pleasant staff, clean and located facilities at 15 min from the train station.I recommend it since with such high prices of hotels in Paris, it fits the budget of many travelers. Free & fast wifi with code is added advantage of this hotel.

I was attending a meeting nearby and was accompanied by my wife so we could spend the weekend in Paris afterwards. She needed somewhere in nice surroundings while I was at the meeting. This was ideal, with a pleasant walk along the banks of the Seine to the meeting and a pleasant walk through the suburb of Rueil to the RER A. This is the sort of hotel we like to stay at rather than the standard ones off the street in the centre of Paris. To the Hotel: our (Superior) room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, it was quiet, and the air conditioning worked and was quiet enough to leave on all night if needed. The restaurant was very good and we also had so called 'snacks' in the bar as an alternative if we didn't feel like going all out. The 'snacks' were actually pretty substantial. Service was outstanding throughout. When I emailed a couple of times in the days running up to the trip, reception replied within minutes. The only real issue we had was with the motion sensor in the vestibule. This puts the light by the door on as you walk underneath it. A positive benefit if there is just one of you, but it tended to wake the other one of us up if one of us went to the bathroom during the night. I mentioned it to reception and the engineer came out on the Sunday, on his day off, to put in a work-around. I was amazed and it just goes to show that, nine times out of ten, if you simply mention a problem to reception in any hotel, they will try their best to fix it. One final tip. The restaurant and bar both apparently closed after lunch on the Sunday we were there. Reception pointed us to a few nice restaurants about 15 minutes walk away and we were OK. However, it looks like a lot of restaurants in Rueil close after lunch or only serve drinks and snacks on Sunday evening. I'm long retired and it's possible I may never come here again for a meeting. However, this is far and away the best hotel we've ever stayed at when visiting Paris.

Fenêtre chambre très mal isolée: difficulté à chauffer la pièce et courant d'air perceptible depuis le lit! Si vous voulez vérifier, c'est la chambre 506 Même problème dans la pièce du petit déjeuner et dommage qu'il n'y ait pas d'œufs brouillés. Sans doute tout cela est du au faible nombre de clients ce week-end
