Amazing
AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to Circular Quay, the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and the Royal Botanic Garden. The hotel itself is beautiful, but the room view was disappointing. We booked a 'Skyline King Room,' but there was no skyline visible at all; we just looked out onto old, dilapidated rooftops. The room also felt quite small.

GGuest UserSuper convenient location, right next to Wynyard station, easy access and walkable distance to attractions. Beautiful hotel with helpful staff. Lovely rooftop lounge offering complimentary coffee/milk, the coffee machine has many options to select from. 24 hour gym. Clean rooms and high tech features. Although the room is a bit small but it workes for us.

JJerwin ImperialOur stay at this hotel was truly exceptional from start to finish. The room was impeccably clean—everything felt fresh, well-maintained, and very comfortable, which made it easy to relax after a long day. The amenities were excellent, offering everything we needed for a convenient and enjoyable stay. From the thoughtful in-room features to the well-kept facilities, it’s clear the hotel pays attention to detail. Location-wise, it couldn’t have been better. It was perfectly situated close to key attractions, dining spots, and transport options, making it easy to get around and explore. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. There was a great variety of options, all delicious and well-prepared—definitely something to look forward to each morning. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and quality service.

GGuest UserPerfect location! It’s a hotel with self check-in but there is an employee that helps. But in the corner there are two desks that also assist with you a face to face check-in service. Room was clean and was told the rooms were recently renovated too. The team was very kind to acknowledge our anniversary stay and prepared an amenity. They have a gym that’s new as well. We were not entitled for the club lounge but seems nice. But again the location! Also the affordable price compared to other CBD 5 star hotel.

GGuest UserLet's start with the positives: - Location is perfect, 5min away from Circular Quay, 10min walk from the shopping area of Pitt street. Right in the city center. - Staff is nice, giving small gift to our kid. Breakfast is also quite good. - We were able to do an early check-in at 10am without surcharge, which was very nice after an overnight flight. Now for the negatives: - Room is small and basic for a 5 star hotel, shower room is very simple, you'd expect more for a premium brand like Mariott at a price of 500 AUD for a night. - The harbor bridge view room is absolutely not worth it: you need to be at your window and looking on the right to see it. Completely useless. The real view is currently a construction site. Very disappointing. - Cleaning is not done properly: there were still some crumbs on the floor after the room was cleaned, and worth, there were 3 pairs for previous guests slippers under the bed! To conclude, it's not worth it. Next time I'll probably stay again at the Shangri-La for a similar pricing.

AAnonymous UserWe stayed for 8 nights with our 3-year-old toddler, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Location: Perfect. We walked easily from the train station after arriving from Sydney Airport. The hotel is within a 10-minute walk to Darling Harbour, about 15 minutes to Wildlife Sydney and SEA LIFE, and right next to Darling Square park. Plus, Coles, Priceline, Chemist Warehouse, and everything else we needed were just minutes away. Room layout: We booked a one-bedroom apartment with a living room, balcony, large kitchen, and lovely bathroom. The space was huge – ideal for a family. The dining table was a real bonus, and the kitchen had everything we needed. I was able to cook breakfast and dinner for our toddler each day, so we didn’t have to eat out every night. That saved us time, money, and hassle. Service: Housekeeping came almost every day, and the customer service from the entire team was fantastic – everyone was so friendly and helpful. If you’re travelling with a young child and want space, convenience, and a welcoming atmosphere, I would absolutely recommend Rydges Darling Square Apartment Hotel. We’ll be back!

WWuji❤️yingThis hotel is quite central. The parking entrance is a bit tricky; it's the leftmost lane, actually the entrance to the World Square car park. This setup is different from traditional car park entrances in China, which caused us to miss it and drive around the city center in circles. The hotel's dedicated parking is on level 3 (which is actually underground). When you enter the car park, you go down from levels 7, 6, 5, and so on. If you're driving to the hotel, you need to go to level 3. Be sure to follow the signs to the hotel's parking level on level 3 (different hotels use different levels for their private parking, so don't get confused). Once you've parked on level 3 in the hotel's dedicated parking, there's an elevator right next to it that takes you directly to the hotel's front desk on the L floor. Parking is expensive: AUD 60 for a weekend day and AUD 70 on weekdays. You pay by scanning a QR code. I hope this helps anyone driving themselves. Everything else was fine. Parking in Sydney is really, really expensive if you're driving yourself. 😂

XxiaoshumelExcellent location just a couple mins walk from Town Hall station. Also has a Woolworth conveniently nearby and QVB is just across the road. Room was clean, room service was excellent and towels were replaced daily. Mini fridge and iron too in the room if needed. Bathroom is spacious enough and concierge is very friendly.

GGuest UserI booked this hotel for New Year's Eve to watch the fireworks. The location is super convenient, very close to several fireworks viewing spots, just a 15-minute walk away. This year's Sydney New Year's Eve was perfect! The hotel facilities are very modern, and there are two supermarkets nearby, making it very easy to buy daily necessities.
