GGuest UserThe location is excellent, and it is very convenient to eat. It is located in Chinatown, but the hygiene is poor, the room is small, the sheets and bedding are a bit dirty, and the mattress is worn out. I will not choose this place in the future

GGuest Useribis Brisbane – Elizabeth Street: a fair, functional CBD stay The ibis Brisbane on Elizabeth Street sits right in the thick of the CBD, a short walk to Queen Street Mall, the river, and most of what central Brisbane throws at you. Location is its strongest card — if you’re in town for work, a conference, or a short stopover, it’s undeniably convenient. The hotel itself is… fine. This is a classic ibis: clean, practical, and unpretentious. Don’t come expecting boutique flair or resort-style comforts. Rooms are compact, the fit-out is basic, and everything works — which is really the point. One thing that does matter here is which room you get. Some rooms have genuinely good views over the Brisbane River or City Hall and feel brighter and more open. Others look straight into neighbouring buildings or internal spaces and can feel a bit boxed in. If a view matters to you, it’s worth asking at check-in or booking accordingly. Beds are comfortable enough for a solid night’s sleep, the bathroom is small but functional, and noise levels are generally reasonable given the central location. Staff are efficient rather than effusive, which suits the no-nonsense tone of the place. Bottom line: ibis Brisbane is a reliable, mid-range CBD hotel that does what it says on the tin. Nothing flash, nothing terrible — just a practical base in a very good location. The experience improves noticeably if you land one of the better rooms with a view.

AAnonymous UserThe room rate is cheap. I booked a cheaper hotel because I had to get up early to catch the flight. The only drawback was that I was given a disabled room on the lower floor. I had to get up early the next day so I didn't ask for a room change. The floor was high and I could smell the fumes from the restaurant downstairs. I recommend booking a room on a higher floor.

GGuest UserThis hotel was spotlessly clean and offered complimentary breakfast, making it perfect for travelers. Its location is incredibly convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the train station, and surrounded by numerous dining options. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, with soft, comfortable bedding. The excellent soundproofing ensured a truly restful night's sleep. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, handling check-in swiftly and even going the extra mile to recommend local sightseeing routes. Overall, our experience was fantastic, offering exceptional value for money. I will absolutely choose to stay here again on my next trip!

GGdnightMy partner and I stayed at One Apartments by Cllix for a weekend getaway and were thoroughly impressed. The location is absolutely unbeatable. Being right next to the Central Station made getting everywhere incredibly easy, and we were within walking distance of the Queen Street Mall, Fortitude Valley, and the Howard Smith Wharves. Having a supermarket right across the street was also a huge convenience. We booked a one-bedroom apartment and were pleased with the space. It was modern, clean, and exactly as pictured. The full kitchen was well-equipped, which allowed us to save money by making breakfast and a couple of meals at home. The highlight, without a doubt, was the private balcony with stunning views over the city and Story Bridge—perfect for enjoying a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. The check-in process was smooth via the digital kiosk, and the staff we interacted with at reception were friendly and helpful. The pool and gym area looked great, though we didn't have time to use them. For the price, the location, and the amenities, this place offers exceptional value. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Brisbane.

LloveshoppingmamiThe hotel is quite old; the facilities, room amenities, and even the elevators are showing their age. The biggest and most serious issue is the terrible soundproofing in the rooms. If you're looking for a relaxing stay where you can sleep in until you wake up naturally, this hotel is definitely not for you! However, if you wake up at 7 AM every day, then this hotel might be perfect. The soundproofing is incredibly poor! You can hear conversations from next door very clearly. If there are kids around, it's an absolute nightmare, unbelievably noisy! Plus, the room doors slam shut with a very loud bang every time. There were several families with children staying next to me, and every morning at 7 AM, it was a constant cycle of opening and closing doors, running, jumping, and shouting. I complained to the reception, but it only stopped for half a day before the running, jumping, and shouting started again. Eventually, I couldn't take it anymore and went down to reception to request a room change! If the staff had offered me a room change after my first complaint, I would have praised them highly. Unfortunately, they completely ignored it until I couldn't stand it anymore and demanded a room change. Only then did they move me, which doesn't really meet the standard for hotel service and problem-solving. Housekeeping wasn't very thorough; they only made the bed, didn't change the sheets, and sometimes remembered to change the towels, sometimes not. Also, the towels and sheets weren't very clean and had stains. As for vacuuming, it wasn't done daily; they only vacuumed if you asked them to, otherwise, they didn't. On a positive note, the hotel staff were polite, friendly, and always smiling. The rooms were also reasonably spacious with enough room for luggage. And the location is right in the city center, which is very convenient.

NNoodleCupKGood value, right in the CBD which is good for first time visitors. Amenities are average and during my visit in December, there was a lot of renovation work during the day so it was a bit noisy especially when my room was right next to the renovation zone.
