GGuest UserI like this hotel. It has a beautiful view in my room. It looks a bit old but suprisingly it is still clean. I didnt use too much service or facilities but I feel good when I interact with the hotel's staff and guest. The location is right next to the river for a good view while it may be slight far away from the CBD or train station for walking (something like 15 mins walk in hot weather is quite tough to us) but too close to take an uber or taxi. The restaurant has a good river and bridge view with a standard breakfast

GGuest UserThe location is a major plus, very close to Central Station (within walking distance) and not far from the long-distance bus terminal (a $7-8 Didi ride). It's also quite convenient for shopping in the city.
The service was decent. There was a Chinese-speaking front desk staff during the day, though I'm not sure if they spoke Mandarin as we communicated entirely in English. In the evenings, the front desk was staffed by Indian colleagues, who were also good, just spoke a bit fast. Their attitude was very friendly.
Breakfast was a buffet, and the offerings varied slightly each day. Items were replenished fairly quickly, though the staff were quite busy, making communication not always easy.
Overall, it offers good value for money.
Toothbrushes and slippers were not provided, but toiletries were. For charging, only USB and Australian plugs were available.
Guests come from all over the world, with a good number from Taiwan and Korea. Hope this review helps!

It's incredibly convenient for transportation and very close to the city center and major attractions, making getting around a breeze. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, this hotel is an excellent choice.
The hotel's overall environment is clean and tidy, and the lobby is spacious and bright. The front desk staff are warm, professional, and courteous; they proactively greet guests every time, making you feel right at home. Check-in and check-out were also incredibly efficient, with virtually no waiting time, making the entire process very smooth.
The room layout is well-designed, offering ample space and excellent natural light. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and well-maintained, fully equipped, and the toiletries were of good quality. What pleasantly surprised me most was the excellent soundproofing in the room – I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway or neighboring rooms, allowing for a truly peaceful rest.
The hotel breakfast offered a rich variety of options, including both Chinese and Western dishes. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, catering to all tastes. The servers were also very attentive, proactively asking if guests needed assistance, which left a very positive impression.
I also had the chance to experience the hotel's gym and swimming pool this time. Both were well-equipped and well-maintained, with a very clean and relaxing environment. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is comfortable and quiet, perfect for unwinding and rejuvenating.
In summary, this is a high-quality hotel with excellent service, complete facilities, and a beautiful environment. I highly recommend it for both business trips and family vacations. Next time I visit this city, I will definitely choose to stay here again!

DD DeeGreat location and very clean rooms! The staff are lovely and the proximity to the station and shops is a huge plus. On the negative side, the 4-person room is very small and the blankets are quite thin. I also struggled to use the kitchen as it was crowded by the same group of people throughout my stay. Good for a short stay, but could be more comfortable.

TTaishanshendiaoxialvHotel location: Super convenient, right outside is George Square and Queen Street. You can even see the clock tower of the square from your room. Truly irreplaceable.
Hardware facilities: The space isn't huge, but the facilities are quite complete. Although it's an old hotel, the cleanliness is still good.
Service: We stayed for 2 nights and noticed there was only one bottle of milk. We told the staff, and they immediately brought a whole pack, which was great.
However, the bathroom fan was broken. We called maintenance, and they came to look at it but couldn't fix it on the spot, saying they'd come back the next afternoon. But when we returned to our room late the next evening, it still wasn't fixed, and we weren't informed why. This needs improvement.

KKei.missingLiving Room bar is a must to visit !! Tony and his colleagues were super hospitable, mixed us most of the menu items, and our favourites were the Beet-ness and Espresso 2.0. We stayed for only the one night on the 19th floor and thought the view at night was great. Waking up to see so much of Brisbane in the morning was a real surprise. Breakfast Buffet menu options were vast, however we chose from the à la carte menu paired with some fantastic coffees to start the day.

GGuest UserStayed here twice. First time was really good, the second time the room had still some rubbish. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms quiet. Location is great, close to mega mall and public transport. Breakfast was simple - no cheese or yogurt - but ok. The only negative thing is the WiFi. It is slow and hangs sometimes. It also has a minimal quota.
