A brief stay at PARATY
In a quiet street, within short walking distance of the shops & restaurants in the historic centre. An old colonial property which had a great atmosphere. Staff very helpful arranging trips.

The Pousada Arte Colonial is a 10minute stroll from the bus station [Terminal Rodoviário de Paraty], situated in a beautiful 18th century townhouse in the historic centre of Paraty. The pousada oozes charm and character. It is furnished throughout with lovely period furniture, and is extremely comfortable and charming. We were welcomed and checked-in by the wonderfully friendly and helpful Aline. She showed us to our room [Light Suite] with its own staircase. The room and bathroom were comfortable and clean, and included a ceiling fan and air con. The pool/garden area, whilst small, is a perfect spot to relax. The plentiful breakfast was served by Andrei, who was most friendly and kind. The pousada has free, reliable Wi-Fi throughout the property. If you're looking for a charming, period pousada in the heart of historic Paraty, it'd be hard to find one better than the Pousada Arte Colonial. Highly recommended.

Achei o hotel bem localizado e a casa bem bonita com muito potencial para se transformar em uma pousadinha boa mas o hotel é barulhento desde 6h da manhã. Quarto muito sujo. Lencois sujos, cama bastante desconfortável. Colchao duro e sem edredom. Colcha da cama suja e encardida. Fiquei na suite de cima! Mofada. Banheiro sujo e a privada nao viu uma limpeza desde 1800. Cafe da manha ok mas bastante simples. Eu nao volto nunca mais

Horrible. Sale. Pas de drap mais une couverture pourrie. Sale de bain sordide. Lit non fait. On est resté 15mns et on est partis alors que l'on avait reservé 2 nuits.
