"Mediterranean Princess Katerini Paralia Both flights and transfers went flawlessly, even though the transfer from airport to hotel is about 1 HR 10min these were by private air-conditioned taxis. This hotel is definitely worthy of it's 4 star rating, the decor is modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We booked full board plus and were not disappointed. The hotel is for adults only and about 1.5 to 2km in each direction from both towns. The Hotel staff could not be more helpful and are all polite and friendly, in the restaurant Elli, Christian, Elina, Garifalia, Viola in bar and restaurant, reception Konstantinos. The meals are buffet style with great variety always fresh and hot as well as a good cold selection and if you like pastries these are to die for. The drinks selection covers anything you require at anytime during stipulated times of 10am 22pm. appart from some speciality drinks. You can ask for bottled water to take if you go walking and take drinks back to your room. The pools are spotless and there are plenty of sun loungers around, with excellent pool bar service, clean towels are provided from reception on return if required each day. We had a room with pool and sea view, which was upgraded when we arrived, the rooms are spacious and spotless, the bed linen and towels are changed on request. The room has fridge with tea and coffee making facilities, however they do not have milk in the rooms, because of limited use by dates and the temperature. This is not a problem as you can ask at the bar or reception for bottled water and cartons of milk. The beach is just a little over 5 minutes walk from the hotel with it's own deck chairs and umbrellas. There was a singing Duo on for two nights during our 7 night stay."

"We enjoyed the seaside service, it was good but the price of the sunbed rental was not shown anywhere, so we were not sure about the cost. Card payment is possible and you get complimentary snacks for your beer. Some of the sunbeds have little nails stuck in them, and you can get hurt easily."

"Great place, great location, in the center, beach, restaurants and shops in 2 minutes... Very friendly stuff, very clean rooms, towels .,..good air-condition, balcony. Food was delicious, we had half-board...everything you need in breakfast and meal was there. Dinner was tasty and huge, fresh!!! Our room was ready as we came about 10.30 in the morning. After chech-out we leave luggage and spent day at beach. After return we enjoyed in saloon of hotel till our transportation. Thanx Regina Mare, all recommedation!"

The warm, friendly atmosphere influenced this. The breakfast, the cleanliness, the positioning of this hotel, the price-quality ratio are major assets for maximum marks. Probably the cultural adaptation, Greek, Bulgarian, English are spoken here, languages ​​somewhat known to us as well. Patron Nikos' constant concern for every detail, every need of the tourist is a plus. And as a corollary to all this, it is probably no coincidence that our home town and the town of Katerini in Greece are officially ennobled by the local councils with the title of sister cities. "One thing is good about this hotel —Location(is near center) apart from that everything is awful . Rooms were dirty,walls were scratched, dirty bed ,dirty double-glazed windows. The photos on booking and on tripadvisor are not even 50% like how is in reality. When I told them we wanted our money back, the man at the reception said it wasn't possible; I asked him to come and see the state of the room, but he replied—very dismissively—that he doesn’t want to see. I travel a lot , i was in many hotels but none like this one. If you want to ruin your holiday go to Mistral!!!"

"The Yakinthos hotel was absolutely superb! It’s around a 10 minute easy walk to a very busy town and 5 minute walk to the beach! Lovely atmosphere and the staff are so friendly and so helpful! The views of Mount Olympus are unreal! The staff helped us every step of the way! You feel so welcome as soon as you walk in! We were sad to leave! We couldn’t believe how clean our rooms were every day! The food is amazing! And bar staff are so friendly! We stayed with our 5 year old and she thoroughly enjoyed the stay too! It was quiet in the evenings and we all slept lovely under the air con! I honestly cannot recommend the place enough! We thank Yanis and the whole team at Yakinthos hotel!"
