"Mediterranean Princess Katerini Paralia Both flights and transfers went flawlessly, even though the transfer from airport to hotel is about 1 HR 10min these were by private air-conditioned taxis. This hotel is definitely worthy of it's 4 star rating, the decor is modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We booked full board plus and were not disappointed. The hotel is for adults only and about 1.5 to 2km in each direction from both towns. The Hotel staff could not be more helpful and are all polite and friendly, in the restaurant Elli, Christian, Elina, Garifalia, Viola in bar and restaurant, reception Konstantinos. The meals are buffet style with great variety always fresh and hot as well as a good cold selection and if you like pastries these are to die for. The drinks selection covers anything you require at anytime during stipulated times of 10am 22pm. appart from some speciality drinks. You can ask for bottled water to take if you go walking and take drinks back to your room. The pools are spotless and there are plenty of sun loungers around, with excellent pool bar service, clean towels are provided from reception on return if required each day. We had a room with pool and sea view, which was upgraded when we arrived, the rooms are spacious and spotless, the bed linen and towels are changed on request. The room has fridge with tea and coffee making facilities, however they do not have milk in the rooms, because of limited use by dates and the temperature. This is not a problem as you can ask at the bar or reception for bottled water and cartons of milk. The beach is just a little over 5 minutes walk from the hotel with it's own deck chairs and umbrellas. There was a singing Duo on for two nights during our 7 night stay."

"The most beautiful hotel I have ever visited! Very clean rooms and bathrooms, and very spacious, large balconies, fantastic view of the sea and Olympus, all the spaces scented, very rich breakfast with a very wide variety for all tastes, very large parking and very kind staff. The quality and price ratio was excellent! I highly recommend it! We will definitely visit it again!"

"We had a wonderful stay at Yakinthos Hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area while still enjoying a quiet environment. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of fresh options. Thank you very much for your warm hospitality. We truly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Yakinthos Hotel to anyone visiting the area. We look forward to coming back!"

"Property is lovely and rooms are comfortable and clean. Beach is very average. Pool area is very nice. Great for events such as wedding. Breakfast buffet was very nice with many options. Service was good but would expect more staff at beach and bar. Too expensive for location."

"I paid for a Deluxe Suite and received a smaller, less expensive room. The manager blamed it on a middle company and trip.com. She never once bothered to make it up with any additional amenities. No concept of customer service."

"Mythic Valley is a small independent Guest House in a very quiet side street just off the centre of Litochoro, literally 3 minutes walk from the Main Street where all the Bars and Restaurants are situated. Street parking is available in the area (right outside if you are lucky) there’s very little through traffic! The Guest House is managed and run by ‘Stella’! Stella is one of the most efficient and welcoming hosts I have ever had the pleasure to meet, she is an absolute encyclopaedia of knowledge on the area and is always available to help you plan your days, should you need any help. The accommodation at Mythic Valley is lovely, spacious, very well kept and situated on two floors around a central courtyard. Breakfast is good with a wide selection of ‘home made’ Greek fare on a Buffet style. Totally recommended, you will not be disappointed."

"Hosts are delightful - knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast is wonderful and the entire lodge was perhaps the cosiest place we have ever stayed. Town is a short walk away, easy to grab a bottle of local wine (at Olympus Wines) and sit on the lodge patio after dinner. Easy drive to Olympus trails."

"Great pool and eating areas. Very close to the beach. We had a Room on the first floor and had a partial sea view and was spacious. However could hear people moving about above us and moving furniture about as we were trying to go to sleep. Staff overall were polite"

"Previous reviews stated that this hotel was a bit “tired” nothing could be further from the truth. We found the hotel immaculate both in the public spaces and our room. We had booked a mountain view but on arrival we were delighted to find that we had a view of the mountain AND the sea. There are two restaurants serving different menus in the evening and a pool bar for lunch plus a small beach bar. The beach is not sand but stones , fairly standard in Greece. The Infinity pool is great with plenty cabanas and sun beds round the two pools - no need for towel races at 6am! The staff could not have been more helpful and always had a smile and a welcome in the morning, Katerina even knew what kind of coffee I preferred at breakfast time! The only negative is that the hotel is a bit remote. There are a few restaurants within walking distance but you need to walk along the main road which is a race track and at one point there is no path only road. Once safely off the road a track leads down to the sea front and The Veranda restaurant which was has great food and music. There is also another restaurant near there but it was so quiet we never tried it. On the other side of the restaurant car park there is a small shop and round from there a great cafe/bar. A 12 euro taxi will take you up to Litochoro where there are many restaurants and shops. You can walk from there to the waterfalls which is an easy walk on paths."
