📍 Main Street, Paralia

"Mediterranean Hotel, Olympus Riviera. 4 * 2 hour transfer with only 3 drop offs. Terrible entrance up to reception. No staff to assist. If you have previously been to this hotel you will know to walk round past the pool where there is an entrance with ramps and lifts up to level 2 where reception is. Quick check in by very friendly staff, €10 tourists tax per room per night, payable at any point throughout holiday. Free safe, deposit refundable for beach towels, free bottle of water, 2 tea bags, 2 sugar, 2 coffee replaced daily when they remember (NO MILK). Kettle, fridge. Soap, shampoo, body, gel and not very good conditioner ( replaced when they remember). Very soft towels. 2 large pillows per bed (YEAH). Comfy beds. Walk in corner shower. Shower head is a removable one but quite powerful. Shaving mirror, hair dryer. Balcony (not cramped) does not have a clothes airer, 2 chairs table and Ash tray. Wardrobe with 10 hangers, and 5 drawers, very dated but functional. Room cleaned daily if required. Plenty sockets. Lounge/ bar: plenty of seating, prices expensive, €4 for 1/4 pint of coke. €4.50 small black coffee. No Entertainment. Restaurant/terrace(smoking area). Not huge but tables were also set up outside and in lounge. Buffet, soup, salads, hot or cold main and desserts. Soup was mostly tomato. Meat was cooked till tender. Plenty of choice. Drinks could be paid for or added to room bill. Breakfast, fruit in juice, cooked and continental choice. No Bananas. Yogurts. Pool/bar. Greek music and not loud. Expensive, barman only seemed to be busy when all inclusive were around. Small hotel shop, which sells, ice cream, cigarettes, pop, etc but NOT milk. Most people bought drinks from local ( 20 minutes walk) supermarkets to drink at poolside or on balcony. Large cold pool, plenty sun beds/shelter and same on beach situated outside front of hotel, which are free. Only time beach was busy was Sunday . Sand is fine shingle. Town to the left is larger than town to right, cafes, shops, kids arcades. Hotels and restaurants. Supermarkets and loads of ice cream parlours. Greek people so friendly. Video shows how busy it doesn’t get 🤣🤣🤣"

"We were accommodated in room 201 on the 2nd floor, accessible by elevator. The room is spacious, clean, modernly furnished, air-conditioned and has a large balcony. Very friendly staff and a varied breakfast in the Swedish buffet. There is a public parking lot in front of the hotel or nearby and the receptionist takes care of finding a convenient place."

"We spent an amazing wekend on the coaat of Katherini with the help of our friends from hotel Yakinthos. Very warm and helpful people who comforted us the best way possible. They organized an authentic greek experience with tons of fun. The hotel is renovated - very clean, close to the beach but away from the crowds. I absolutely recommend it"

📍 Agias Paraskevis 7, Paralia

"Below expectations!!! I don't know how others can leave positive reviews. It looks nothing like the photos in the description. The photos must be from when the hotel first opened, because everything is worn out now. The bathroom is dirty and neglected. The shower is broken and leaks water everywhere. The breakfast was meager, consisting of boiled eggs, salami, and sad-looking slices of ham. I asked for a fried egg but was refused, with the excuse that "that's how breakfast is done here." There are signs everywhere stating that you aren't allowed to take food out of the restaurant. At 10:00 AM, when breakfast ended, everything was cleared away in a huge rush. Read less"

"For 100 euros a night, the worst hotel I've ever stayed at at such a price... breakfast insufficient... salamaki kaseraki juice and some bad time sausage rolls... I have these at home too... after 5 pm the hotel is like an abandoned staff in the bar there is no staff and in general if you need something from the kitchen there is no staff to serve you....an employee at the reception only nothing else...in the room poor soundproofing we hear everything, dirty covers and torn curtain .The maids are kind and very willing to help, thank you very much ladies!"

📍 Olympus Riviera, V.Konstantinoy 47, Paralia

"We enjoyed the seaside service, it was good but the price of the sunbed rental was not shown anywhere, so we were not sure about the cost. Card payment is possible and you get complimentary snacks for your beer. Some of the sunbeds have little nails stuck in them, and you can get hurt easily."

"A good quality hotel with comfy beds, hot showers and good air conditioning. All the staff are friendly, efficient and very hard working. In a peaceful location with only a short walk to a sandy beach where you can swim in the sea without using wet shoes. There are two small beach resorts a short walk away with shops and tavernas. The hotel pool is beautiful and ideal for swimming. The views of Mount Olympus are a wonderful back drop. The only negative is that the buffet food was always lukewarm and slightly repetitive. There are lots of things to see and do in this area but you need to arrange your own transport. We used a company called iGoHellas.com to visit the ancient site of Dion and Pantalamos Castle and to go further afield to Vergina and Pella. They also helped us to go sightseeing in Thessaloniki when Jet 2 excursions failed to turn up"

"It will be a review intended for the idea of family. It is hard to believe for us, ordinary tourists, that we really felt at home here. And they are not big words. The warm, friendly atmosphere influenced this. The breakfast, the cleanliness, the positioning of this hotel, the price-quality ratio are major assets for maximum marks. Probably the cultural adaptation, Greek, Bulgarian, English are spoken here, languages somewhat known to us as well. Patron Nikos' constant concern for every detail, every need of the tourist is a plus. And as a corollary to all this, it is probably no coincidence that our home town and the town of Katerini in Greece are officially ennobled by the local councils with the title of sister cities. Happy birthday to you and us, good representatives of our family friendship, now and in the future! We award the grade 10 with fireworks!"

"Everything fine until the glass door of the shower broke into pieces when my girlfriend wanted to get out of the shower. She got multiple cuts all over her body, got a shard in her back, if it was a good secure glass it would not break like that. From here the nightmare starts, the girl at the reception brought a medical kit, but here injuries were above that, she was the only one who cared. Then we went with the manager to the doctor. The manager clearly knew him and talked to him, the doctor cleared the cuts, took a shard from her back and he lied that she didn't have any, I have photos of him extracting the glass from her back. He mentioned leg injury to cover the hotel's fault, instead of mentioning her cuts. The manager didn't even knew what happened and instantly blamed us for the glass breaking. In the morning they told us that we will talk after breakfast, we ate and came to talk. We wanted to settle the issue and there was no talk, the options they gave us was we either pay the damage or they call the police. The police officers came, started to talk in Greek, so we did not understand anything. I insisted to talk in English so it would be fair for both parties. The police told us we either pay half and half or sue each other and went away. The staff didn't clean the glass, although they told us they will. They did after 12 and a half hours later, only after insisting many times. They did clean the room so we could take a shower and use the toilet. They left the glass for the police to see, the police didn't care to see neither the glass nor the wounds my girlfriend suffered, not to mention the emotional stress we went through. Total lack of empathy. We talked to our country's consul and lawyer and they said it is not our fault and that we should demand damages for what happened to us. The manager said we will talk the next morning when we were supposed to check out and we will sue each other then. After a day of stress and calls, we were called in the morning from the front desk telling us that the manager and owner was waiting downstairs with the lawyer. I saw it as intimidation. I told him we will not pay anything and that he will talk with our consul in Greece. After the talk, the consul said they will receive a call from a lawyer so they can talk from lawyer to lawyer. In the meantime, his wife came, they were four people and we said why are you four and us only two, we said that our two friends should be with us as well. In that moment the owner/manager started yelling at us, saying what will our friend do to us? We tried to explain it would just be fair. He got up and started yelling at us, swearing at us in many ways in Greek. Making ugly remarks about Romanian people, half the hotel were Romanians so he was swearing at the people who put food on his table. He started to be very aggressive, both him and his father, I thought he was going to punch my friend because he was very aggressive but his wife stopped him, his father pulled"

"Travel Office Rainbow sells bankruptcy offers!!! The tragedy is not a hotel. This is how to make people in "bambuko" in 2023r.Stacony time and money. The room with sea view is a cage with view of the wall of the nearby building. From the sewers go a sink all the time and you have to combine and drop water so that the knee is water because I On breakfast and dinner freshness and choice was like in the companies that are in the state of bankruptcy and must give something but who had some reason went to the market and for a few euros did not fear that he would be poisoned with waste that they said on the The table .For peace and excitement, money and time lost - Greece and Paralia itself approx. We must also avoid other hotels of this company - there is the same level of criticism below - according to the opinion of other similar losers as our family. The company in the state of bankruptcy- these Hotels bypass away!!!!"

Paralia Beach Boutique Hotel ★★★
"My wife and I have just had a wonderful 8 days at this boutique beach hotel. Maria the manager, Sophia, Marie and other staff were excellent in making sure we were happy with everything. Nothing was too much trouble to make sure we enjoyed our stay. The hotel has the best location being right at the beach and also in the town village as well. Dimitri the beach waiter brings out drinks and snacks right up to the complimentary beach umbrellas and sun lounges. The breakfast is delicious and comprehensive. Maria has chosen the nicest soft Greek music for the lobby and lounge areas which are a delight to listen to. We had the top room facing the sea with a large balcony and 2 chairs and 2 recliner lounges. It’s got the location and best staff, great breakfast and good restaurants within a few metres."
