It was amazing specially the Bon fire dinner. The hospitality was outstanding. The staff made sure the stay was pleasant and peaceful. The safari driver showed us around the village. The place is located with a very beautiful view. The sunrise and sunset was mesmerising.

My stay at Amritara Jawai Resort was nothing short of extraordinary, and I’d love to share my experience to help you plan your visit. A Perfect Blend of Nature and Comfort: Amritara Jawai Resort is nestled in the lap of nature, surrounded by hills, a tranquil dam, and open wilderness. The resort’s location, right next to the leopard spotting zone, makes it an ideal getaway for wildlife enthusiasts and those seeking peace. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and the bathrooms are surprisingly large, rooms having real large size photos of the wildlife, adding a luxurious touch to the rustic surroundings. The food is freshly prepared, flavorful, and served with a warm smile by the ever-courteous staff. Evenings at the resort are magical, with opportunities for stargazing, cozy bonfires, and views that seem straight out of a postcard. The Star of the Stay – Mr. Dayal: One of the most remarkable aspects of my visit was meeting Mr. Dayal, the resort manager. A professional naturalist with expertise in wildlife and forestry, Mr. Dayal is an encyclopedia of knowledge. Whether it’s mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds, or trees, his insights are fascinating and deeply enriching. He has a unique ability to connect nature with stories, leaving you with a new appreciation for the harmony around you. If the night sky is clear, he can guide you through stargazing sessions, explaining star formations and constellations. If you’re lucky, he might even accompany you on a leopard safari, turning it into an unforgettable experience. His humility, warmth, and dedication to ensuring every guest has a memorable stay are truly commendable. The Thrill of the Leopard Safari: The leopard safari at Jawai is unlike any other wildlife experience. The 4x4 jeeps take you through rugged terrain and up hills in search of these elusive big cats. Thanks to the excellent coordination among the jeep drivers, the chances of spotting a leopard are incredibly high. Once you’ve spotted a leopard, the safari doesn’t just end there. You’re taken to a scenic spot on the hill overlooking the dam, where you can enjoy hi-tea in the middle of nature. The combination of adventure, wildlife, and serenity makes this a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Morning Walks and Birdwatching: Another highlight of the trip was the morning walk to the dam near the resort. Guided by the staff (a must due to the presence of crocodiles), this walk offers a chance to connect with nature. Watching weaver bird nests was a delightful experience. 1. Spent 1 night at the paradise room with balcony. 2. Location is great, nestled among the prehistoric granite hill formations and Jawai Sagar lake. 3. All Staff are very helpful and responsive. Overall excellent hospitality. 3. Cottages are spacious, clean , amenities are well maintained and have a good touch. 4. The last 500 mtrs approach road is through narrow village lanes and adjecent forest route can be tricky . Call the resort before reaching. They will send an escort vehicle. 5. Restaurant and Food experience was very much to our liking, buffet spread was adequate. 6. The safari ride over the hills was a thrilling experience !

Beautiful property at an exclusive location. You will not get this type of experience anywhere in Jawai at this cost. The value at amritara is unbeatable. Rooms are clean, comfy and warm in the winters. Excellent shower. Service is quick and attentive, the manager at the property manager Dayal Singh is a great host. Compliments to the chef, food was delicious and he even catered to our specific requests and provided authentic rajasthani cuisine without it being too heavy. Safari through the resort was worth it, they have access to a piece of private land within jawai that is home to a lot of leopards. We may have gotten lucky but we saw 5 different leopards in one evening. Our driver Bharat was an expert. One of the leopards was within 500m of the resort, pics below show how close we got to it. Wildlife at the property is bustling, with langurs, and cows often traversing near or through the property, and enough birds to keep an enthusiast busy for days. We also spotted crocodiles by the lake. And of course there is always the looming presence of the king of these jungles…the leopard.

I have been to Jawai many times and have stayed at other properties. This time our stay at Amritara was exceptionally good. We could not have asked for more, the whole team made our stay a memorable one we would cherish always. 1. I don't think any better location for the lake view exists in the area and around. The evening sunsets are the most mesmerizing. 2. Food was also very tasty and as per our preference, loved all the items chef had prepared for us. Narayan ji Chef has magic with his cooking, and hence yummy meals! Also KP singh ji and Aakash ji from the service team at the restaurant were very accommodating and fast with their service. 3. Service was also exceptional with the staff always ready to help. Prakash ji from the housekeeping team was always there to help us though-out our stay, With whatever we needed from hikes to the temple, to walks to the rocky hills around the lake, to the setups laid by the team etc. 4. Extra efforts by the team by setting up different meal venues with panoramic views of Jawai. Ghanshyam ji from the front office ***** with his team were very kind to arrange these surprise setups. Would like to thank all the team for this memorable stay, we will soon be coming back.
