Hotel Balneario Río Pambre Reviews

Wonderful staff, delicious food, and a beautiful hotel... but very neglected. It's a shame because everything else was excellent. The setting is exceptional. I recommend it to everyone. After being there and receiving their spa treatments and their care, you forget the bad things. In fact, I'm going back as soon as I can. I highly recommend their chestnut lentils and the Galician beef steak.

Pluses:- -Nice setting in the middle of nature -Aqua Spa & Massage facilities -Good food Could be better:- -Attic room allocation means one has to carry luggage up one flight of stairs. One has to be be ultra-careful while moving else likely to hurt one’s head in the lower part of the attic room. -Forgot a pair of new sandals near the spa pool which were reported as lost by the hotel, after a request was sent the next day itself. -The service at the restaurant during dinner was not upto the mark. I asked for only the main course of their set menu as I was not hungry, and was charged even More than their set menu price at the end of the meal! At yeh very least they could have informed me of this anomaly when they agreed to serve only one course! -The breakfast spread was also not great compared to other similarly-priced hotels on the Galician Camino route. -In short, this was the only hotel during my Camino travel from Sarria till Santiago de Compostela where I felt a lack of service-orientation.

Sadly having read all the reviews, I’m actually convinced the hotel does not wish to learn or improve. The rooms are very tired and basic. The spa is mostly out of order therefore you pay 10 euros but the sauna is broken. The gardens are poorly maintained so whilst there is a river at the bottom of the garden, it is not really accesible. As a camino pilgrim getting to the hotel is a nightmare so I would not recommend for anyone who has walked to Palas del Reí. The hotel does not offer transfers and it is overpriced.

A hotel without charm and very expensive for what it offers… despite having a rustic structure that at first seems like it will be cozy, you feel cold and not because of the lack of heating, but because of the attention and general atmosphere, a fireplace that is not lit on a winter day in the middle of a cafeteria area where you have to notify reception so that someone serves you late and poorly… details that have made my stay negative, I was looking for a small spa with charm and cozy to disconnect for a weekend and it was not like that… the room was just right, a curtain in the bathtub and spider webs on the beams already generate discomfort with respect to cleanliness, which later can be appreciated its lack in the spa. The food was average, very good presentation and quick service in the dining room but the quality is not what was expected with respect to the price in a mountain village with so many good things to offer… the best without a doubt the bread!

Está situado en un entorno natural muy bonito. Los tratamientos del balneario están muy bien. La comida es casera y abundante. El personal es muy amable. Está cerca del Castillo de Pambre y del Camino De Santiago. Me sorprenden algunos comentarios negativos porque mi experiencia ha sido muy positiva. De hecho ya lo conocía de hace algunos años y hemos repetido.

El Balneario está ubicado en un entorno magnífico para quien le guste un cierto aislamiento aunque bien comunicado. Balneario pequeño, trato familiar y sin masificación en ninguna dependencia. Muy recomendable y sin duda volveríamos.

Wir haben fuer eine Nachr auf der Durchreise diese Unterkunft gebucht. Das erhaltene Zimmer war eher eine Abstellkammer. Nach einer Beschwerde haben wir eines der Bungalows erhalten. Diese sind keinesfalls besser oder groesser. Im Gegenteil. Im Bungalow sind kleine Zimmer mit noch kleinerem Bad. Die Heizung kaputt. Abendessen im Haupthaus, die Preise fuer vier Starters mit einer normalen Rotweinflasche 80 Euro einfach zu ueberteuert. Schwimmbad war sehr klein und roch sehr stark nach Chlor. Eine sehr kleine Sauna ist vorhanden. Absolut unhygienischer Zustand! Nirgends auf der Seite zu erkennen, dass dies noch Extrakosten von 30 Euro waeren. Unverschaemt. Fruehstueck war im Preis des Zimmers enthalten. Fruehstueck sehr spartanisch, wie alles an dieser Unterkunft. Das winzige, dreckige, kalte Zimmer fuer eine Nacht mit 167 Euro war eine absolute Frechheit! Ich kann jeden nur vor dieser Unterkunft warnen! Geht woanders hin. Fake Bilder, abzocke!

L'hotel sorge vicino al Rio ed a meno di un'ora a piedi dal castello. Ci siamo fermati 2 giorni ed abbiamo provato tutti i servizi. La nostra camera era abbastanza spaziosa, in una costruzione diversa da quella centrale Ampio il parco ed il posteggio. Dopo la prima notte abbiamo però segnalato che il letto cigolava in modo molto fastidioso. Utilizzando il traduttore perché parlano solo spagnolo..si sono annotati la cosa senza fare nulla. Fermati a cena con menù fisso, non occorre prenotare e nelle vicinanze non c'è altro senza prendere auto, se fossimo andati nella adiacente terrazza il costo sarebbe stato 22 euro anziché 20. Piatti senza infamia né lode. Piscina gradevole accesso x solo un'ora un po' caro, obbligatorio uso cuffia c'è anche sauna e bagno turco. Provato anche il massaggio molto brava. Ma la prima cosa è dormire e il letto proprio non andava. Gli asciugamani hanno provato a non cambiarli ma erano bagnati. Siamo dovuti andare a chiedere. Si può fare molto meglio

Propuse ponerme en el mismo inhalador, d todos los dias,q no falte a nadie y se vengaron dejándome la puerta abierta de la bañera d hidromasajes a mala leche para q todo el q pasara mirara,así q pido una disculpa,por este motivo no sé si voy a volver por este mal comportamiento

Hotel que esta en un paraje natural maravilloso, muy hospitalario el trato de sus trabajadores, algo decepcionante el servicio de desayuno, escasa variedad, sin ningún plato caliente; misma circunstancia para la cena, buena pero muy poca variedad. Sinceramente creo que no es acorde a la calidad del Hotel.

Fuimos en semana santa y fue una experiencia muy agradable, destacar el personal amable y pendiente de que todo estuviera a nuestro gusto, la comida muy rica y bien elaborada. Ubicado en plena naturaleza con vistas al Castillo de Pambre. En definitiva lo recomendaría sin dudarlo

Me alojé una noche en este hotel balneario en una habitación doble en régimen de alojamiento y desayuno con entrada al circuito termal. El hotel es muy bonito y está ubicado en plena naturaleza, justo al lado del Río Pambre y a poca distancia del famoso castillo de Pambre. Nuestra habitación estaba ubicada en una de las 2 preciosas pallozas circulares; la habitación es básica y amplia con 2 camas cómodas, tv y con baño completo con bañera (hay gel/champú). El desayuno es tipo buffett y cuenta con cafés e infusiones, zumo de naranja, tostadas, galletas y bollería embolsada, yogurt, embutidos, fruta. También probamos el restaurante, a la hora de la cena y nos encantó: el menú cuesta 16.00€/pax e incluye primero, segundo y postre o café. En nuestro caso probamos la sartén de pasta con gambas y frutos secos, bacalao al horno y rabo de vacuno y de postre tarta de santiago. Las raciones son grandes y están muy bien presentadas. En la parte del balneario disfrutamos de la piscina con chorros, la sauna y reservamos masaje local, peeling y envoltura de cereza. Esta parte del establecmiento es sin duda la mejor. En nuestro caso, pudimos disfrutar de la piscina casi para nosotros solos; los tratamientos están muy bien de precio y el personal es muy amable. Conseguimos el objetivo de relajarnos y desconectar. El hotel dispone de parking gratuito, el personal es muy amable y las instalaciones están cuidadas y limpias. Lo que menos nos gustó de nuestra estancia fué un ruido constante que teníamos en la habitación como de agua continua y la luz verde de emergencia que desprende bastante resplandor por la noche y es bastante molesta. Además, hubiéramos preferido cama matrimonial en vez de 2 camas juntas. Sin duda, un balneario muy recomendable, si buscas relax y naturaleza.

Únicamente estuvimos comiendo en el Restauarante y reseñar la estupenda relación calidad/precio tanto de su menú cómo de su carta. Cocina bien tratada y en cantidad suficiente acompañada de un precio razonable. Sólo un pero... las PATATAS son una venganza (sobre todo estando en Galicia) que en nada merecen al resto del plato. Destacar sus carnes tratadas con mimo y unas Lentejas vegetales con Castañas de 10 sobre 10. Un tanto austero el local pero el ditio merece la pena tanto por la comida cómo por el entorno.

Hacíamos el camino y nos reservaron aquí, hay Spa, 11 euros por persona, y puedes contratar un masaje de peregrino. Cogimos cena y desayuno, muuuuu bien. Cogimos un taxi de 7 plazas, muy amable Francisco Gavieiro), merece la pena, luego sales de nuevo al Camino…es cuesta pero te ahorras pasos
