Servatur Alameda de Jandía ★★★
"It was a nice holiday. Well, by the sea with a swimming pool. The reception spoke all the languages you need"
XQ El Palacete ★★★★
"This is an outstanding hotel!! We just loved everything about it. We went for my daughter’s 16th birthday and it surpassed every expectation. Fabulous staff, fabulous food and fabulous location. You cannot do better than stay here!"
Fergus Cactus Garden ★★★★
"They didn't clean the room"
R2 Hotel Pajara Beach ★★★★
"We really enjoyed our stay here, it was clean, family friendly (lots of activities throughout the day and night), lots of variety in the food and the hotel was clean and well organised. We arranged to move rooms as the room we were in was very noisy next to the stage area, the staff were really accommodating. In terms of all inclusive, beer, cava, sangria is decent - the cocktails are really basic and not that pleasant - just usual machine cocktails (the Pina colada was ok). There is a big difference to lunch in the main restaurant itself and the snack bar but there is pretty much some food available at all times. The restaurant was open until 9pm so we even managed to get food on arrival which was useful! The entertainment staff are brilliant, really personable, always encouraging people to get involved in activities etc. Location of the hotel was next to a beautiful beach, a walk away (there is a restaurant and another bar down by the side of the beach which aren't included in all inclusive but well worth a look). We hired a car and there was plenty of free parking available outside the hotel. All I would say is due to the location it's very much a resort hotel with most amenities being a good 45 minute walk away - definitely worth getting a car if you can as it's cheaper than the transfers usually and allows you to visit nearby beaches/ bars etc. The pools are huge, there is yoga by the beach and water aerobics etc - we absolutely loved the stay for the price."
Mur Faro Jandia Fuerteventura & Spa ★★★★
"We have been coming to the island for over 20 years, knew of the hotel but never stayed here until now. We are just on our 3rd day and what a beautiful hotel. On arrival, welcomed by lovely reception staff. Room is glorious, clean, spacious and has everything you need and more. Everywhere has been given above standard attention., including pool area, lounge, bar. Restaurant is also good. So very pleased that we have eventually stayed here and will definitely be back. I would say that this hotel is the best one that we have stayed in since our first visit to the island in 2003."
Occidental Jandía Playa ★★★★
"Hotel was clean and the amenities serviceable. It’s a bit dated and the food was definitely quantity over quality. Shuttle busses offered to the beach but there’s not much else in the local area."
H10 Playa Esmeralda - Adults Only ★★★★
"Hotel very well located. Magnificent view. Excellent restaurant. Everything was impeccable. One of the most beautiful hotels in the south of Fuerteventura."
Iberostar Selection Fuerteventura Palace ★★★★★
"What a fabulous place! From start to finish we felt completely spoiled in this beautiful hotel. We had a standard double room in a quiet area, plenty of space for everything, clean, housekeeping arrive 2-3 times per day, lovely shower, couldn’t fault it one bit. The food was absolutely the best we have ever had in any all inclusive. Steaks, duck breasts, fish and seafood cooked to order, the most amazing selections at breakfast, traditional Canadian dishes, fabulous salad and vegetable options, iberico meats, every cheese you can think of and even homemade pizzas, chips and nuggets for those who are less adventurous;) The al la carte restaurants were great, the teppanyaki in particular was a real treat…what an experience! Panoramic views from every area poolside, terrace bar was fantastic, poolside bar could be busy at times but there’s a self service area too. The hotel was full but never felt overcrowded, seating was never an issue. But there best thing about the whole experience was the staff. They were friendly, attentive, polite and always happy. On many occasions we would hear laughter among them, it seemed like a very nice environment to work :) Must give a little shout out to Aliou, Merlyn and raquel; everyone was awesome but they were the best! We got engaged out here and will be returning for our honeymoon, we’re already excited! But we’ll book longer next time, a week just wasn’t enough."
Club Hotel Drago Park ★★★★
"Just spent 10 days at this hotel. Staff very pleasant room clean and comfortable but would benefit from the addition of a fridge. Food very good with plenty of choices. Animation team superb really engaged with the guests. Pity it is far out but beaches are beautiful Would highly recommend."

Tui Magic Life Fuerteventura - All Inclusive
"Simply put, I was disappointed by the ladies and gentlemen who organize Extra Adventures, dressed up in TUI clothing, because they don't even know what time the Kids Club opens. Yet they still sold me something, even though they knew I wanted to take my 5-year-old to the Kids Club at that time, while I wanted to go jet-skiing with my 11-year-old—but the Kids Club closed at 9 a.m. I also booked a car that was supposed to come to the hotel. Instead, they were supposed to pick me up from the hotel and take me somewhere else to complete the paperwork. This was, of course, problematic because the children were still asleep in the hotel room at that time. As a single father, this is understandably impossible for me. One particularly negative point is that all the sunbeds are permanently reserved (they start before 6 a.m.)—mostly by German citizens, who are always and regularly unpleasantly conspicuous."
Hotel Riu Palace Jandia
"Our third visit to this hotel, we love it! The staff are so friendly and accommodating, it is immaculately clean, the food is good and the setting overlooking the beach is perfect! We will be back and thank you for looking after us."
Sol Fuerteventura Jandia - All Suites
"We had a really lovely week - was slightly nervous after some of the reviews but everything was great. We ended up upgrading to all inclusive as the drinks average at €7 and lunch was also more expensive than paying for all inclusive for the week. The rooms are incredibly spacious with loads of storage and you can connect your phone/ipad to the tvs so can watch Netflix etc.The breakfast buffet was amazing every day and the hashbrowns were our favourite thing, they also had a omelette making station which was delicious. The all inclusive lunch buffet which is served by the pool was always good, lots of food including burgers, hotdogs, chips, sandwiches, sweet pastries etc. At the pool bar there is an al a carte menu you can order burgers, chicken tenders, salads, poke bowls etc but even with all inclusive you have to pay but the food is amazing either way. Dinner wasn’t as great but always found something and my boyfriend enjoyed it every day. There’s always lots of activities with live music every night and the hotel is very child friendly with a kids club, mermaid school and face painting. The hotel is always clean and the staff are super helpful and welcoming. there’s a supermarket next to the hotel and the beach is only a few minute walk away. I think the people complaining are just looking for the negative things - it’s not a super expensive hotel so you can’t expect an amazing luxury 5* hotel but I actually think the hotel is not far from 5* quality. I really recommend!!!"
Royal Suite
"Amazing service the employees are so kind and entertaining, especially Valentin so nice and funny, made our stay a pleasure. The food is amazing so much variety with lots to chose from everyday. The rooms are spacious and beds extremely comfortable and cleaned everyday if you wish. Overall, honestly a joy to be here and would definitely recommend, all of the staff are very friendly and make you feel at home. The area is very clean and so beautiful! A few minute walk from the beach and a lovely Italian restaurant just down the road. A variety of entertainment all day everyday from live singing to bingo nights and karaoke you will never get bored!"
Hotel Esmeralda Maris by LIVVO
"Room was very spacious and well equipped. Receptionist was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms regularly cleaned. Breakfast was excellent. Looked after my wife on her birthday. Decorated breakfast table and bottle of bubbly in our suite!"
Occidental Jandía Royal Level - Adults Only
"What a wonderful team. Marianna is absolutely incredible in looking after your needs and always attentive to ensuring you have a wonderful stay. Rooms are spotless and benefit from full daily cleans and also an extra evening turndown service, replenishing anything required. Royal Level is well worth the extra, especially for the personal service and quality of food and drink. Table service restaurant is available along with the Atlantico buffet restaurant, which also offers show cooking at every meal. Never have to get up early to get Sun loungers are there are plenty available, pool towels freely available throughout the day. We stayed in early June and the weather was wonderful."
Iberostar Waves Playa Gaviotas All Inclusive
"Been to this hotel many times previously so booked this time as a "safe bet" after family illness, needing rest and relaxation. However, met by major construction work in progress with dust everywhere. Limited health and safety also caused concerns with open, unattended lift shafts. None of this was warned by Jet2 prior to holiday and on-site rep and hotel management did nothing to eleviate the issues and problems. Star Prestige was one plus factor with the sun beds, pool, food and drink available. Also a good room, although a bit dated, with fabulous sea view. Generally, staff are friendly although drink service in restaurant was slow unless you were German and/or tipped! Entertainment was poor and there were not acceptable alternatives for evening drinks because of the work on the one bar area. Overall a very disappointing and not restful holiday. Sadly, we will never return to this hotel"
H10 Tindaya
"We booked a so called double superior room with ocean view. Opposite to the description and photos on the web site, the balcony front of our room was so high, that we could not see the ocean while sitting on the balcony, much less from our room. Instead, only a stone wall. What we did get free of charge is cigarette smoke from the room/balcony next door. The smoke entered the room even with the balcony door closed. Upon arrival with our rental car, instead of receiving a friendly greeting, we were asked by a hotel representative standing outside the front entrance to leave immediately, because a bus may not be able to pass through while we were checking in. In addition, the inside of the entrance was guarded by a security person armed with a baton. First time I have ever seen this in a 4 star hotel The reception at check-in was not able to provide a baggage trolley or anything of equal use for us to bring suitcases to our room. Out of the three outdoor pools, one was filled with cold salt water, one was fenced off for “privilege” bookings only (also a first time experience for me), and only one small pool remained for normal, expected use. The advertised beach access to Sotavento Beach did not exist, The beach directly accessible from the hotel was rather small. Food quality was generally poor. In addition, even a simple afternoon quest for ice cream was unsuccessful. Vanilla soft ice was the only item this place had to offer. The so called “All inclusive drinks” included a Coca Cola soft-drink array, one white and one red wine, and water. We left after the first night."
Bakour Fuerteventura la Pared
"Everyone is very helpful and friendly, many opportunities for activity, delicious, varied food."
Alua Village Fuerteventura - All Inclusive
"Let me just start by saying we had been to a 5-star All-inclusive hotel in Corfu the week before this and honestly there were many elements of the Alua Village that we much preferred over that place, and the Alua is 4-stars! Check-in was pretty smooth, we arrived at around 8pm so first we were encouraged to have our evening meal as the buffet closed at 9:30pm. Once we had our tea, we went back to finalise check-in. There was some minor confusion about our room but easily sorted out. I had emailed the day before to upgrade our room to a “My Favorite Club” room but the original booking was still showing a normal sea view room, I explained this and paid the additional amount with no issues. At the time of writing, an upgrade to My Favorite Club during our stay was €20 per person per day. The My Favorite Club experience includes: - Access to the private My Favorite Club Lounge open from 10am until midnight - Snacks, drinks (Variety of more premium beers, wines, spirits, soft drinks and Nespresso machine) and buffet service available in the Lounge - Room located closer to the main pool area - Access to the private solarium - Coffee machine in the room - Bathrobes and slippers - Complimentary safe - Pool towels - One-off welcome minibar (2x Coca Cola, 2x Fanta, 2x Still Water, 2x Sparkling Water, 2x San Miguel Beer) - Complimentary late check-out (subject to availability and request) Alternatively, if you would only like access to the My Favorite Club Lounge, the cost is €15 per person per day. The room was presented nicely and all clean, but it is definitely showing signs of wear. Our bathroom did have a slight smell of drains but this went away a couple of days into the stay so maybe it was just down to the room not being used for a few days before us. Bed was huge and really comfy, loads of hangers, decent aircon and a load of TV channels for multiple nationalities (UK, Spanish, French, German). Our shower gel was nearly empty when we arrived, so I put an amenity request for some more through the HyattInclusiveClub App, this was resolved within roughly 12 hours. Towels were refreshed every couple of days even though we had them hung up so this was a nice surprise. Bed made up pretty much every day (We do make our bed but housekeepers do it much neater!). Since our room was underneath the sunbed area beside the pool, we could hear people dragging sunbeds across the floor in the morning and evening which wasn’t ideal. Also, one night was pretty windy so you could hear one of the umbrella/shade things making a racket. But I don’t think there’s anything the hotel could do about this other than change our room, it wasn’t that big of a deal but just worth noting. In terms of the food, I think this really depends on what time you arrive to the buffet’s service. Generally the earlier the better, breakfast was frequently the best but we also had some decent good lunch meals when we got there bang on 12:30. Fish and seafood related dishes were frequent a"
IFA Altamarena by Lopesan Hotels
"My husband and I stayed at this hotel for a week in Jandía, Fuerteventura. Overall, we had a nice holiday, but there were a few positives and negatives worth mentioning. The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained. The grounds were absolutely impeccable and clearly cared for by hardworking staff. Our room was lovely and the beds were really comfortable, which made for a great night’s sleep. However, the housekeeping wasn’t the best – our sheets weren’t changed during the entire week, which was a little disappointing. The food was actually very good. As with most all-inclusive hotels it did become a bit repetitive, but everything we tried was tasty and there was always something to eat. The staff throughout the hotel work incredibly hard and most of them were very friendly and welcoming, although some were definitely warmer than others. Entertainment in the evenings was okay but quite limited – it was usually only around two hours per night and not particularly memorable. One thing that might be important for other travellers to know is that the hotel – and much of Jandía in general – is very German-orientated. We didn’t realise this before we arrived. If you’re English and travelling with children, it might not feel like the best fit. We personally enjoy interacting with people and being part of the atmosphere when we travel, and we found that a bit difficult here. That said, the beach is absolutely stunning. We walked for miles along it every day and it was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. Morro Jable, which is a short walk away, is also fantastic with some great restaurants and bars. My husband is football-mad, and we managed to find a brilliant place showing the Premier League and Champions League – Buddha Bar near Burger King. The staff there were fantastic, really accommodating, and very friendly. Overall, we had a nice break and enjoyed parts of our stay, but it’s probably not somewhere we would return to. If we came back to Fuerteventura, we would likely choose a different resort that suits us a little better."
001 Higos Beach Boutique Singular Hotel Residence
"Just returned from our 2nd visit to Higos Beach hotel & once again it was amazing. All staff were friendly & the whole place was spotless. Our room was large & cleaned every other day. The location to the beach is perfect. Can't recommend this place enough. Only suggestion would be music around the pool & the Sky Bar to be open for longer & playing music more regularly. Hoping to return again next year."
