Location is good if you want to go to the resort. We were using the hotel to attend a family funeral Car parking can be difficult and we parked at a sister hotel 10 minutes walk away. Room was too small and needs updating. Old tea bag left in kettle. Some black mould in bathroom. The breakfast was good, although portion size was small. Overall - good value but better hotels locally at small additional cost

My parents have recently returned from staying at this hotel as part of a coach party. On arrival they were allocated a room on the 2nd floor on entering the room they immediately noticed the room was not clean, it was dirty and dusty everywhere and bathroom was filthy. There was not even any soap in the dispenser. In honesty the room looked like it hadn’t been used in a long time. My parents complained to the reception staff who then said someone would come and do a deep clean however even after this it was still filthy. The next morning they requested to be moved and were given a different room on the 2nd floor when they returned back later in the afternoon. This room was even worse!!!! Room dirty, blood on radiator and the shower was black with mould, my mother ended up cleaning it off herself before using it. Staff throughout the hotel were not pleasant towards them and had even told other guests they had complained about their room! Communal areas of the hotel are very tired and dirty too. Food was extremely basic. But the worse was yet to come once my parents returned home my mother discovered she was covered in BED BUG bites which she received whilst staying at the Queens hotel. I would avoid this hotel at all costs.
