Room description old, dampness in rooms. Amenities I.e. playing area pool, table tenis, etc was chargeable. Food (did breakfast) average in taste. Work was going on in the hotel. Pool site was available incomplete where monkeys were bathing and drinking water from it.
Good things were silent corridor, central heating system (however it did fail for few hours during the stay). Separate heating system also provided in room, view from balcony was good.

10 on 10 for food, location, hospitality. The rooms and wash rooms can be upgraded. But I think they are in the process of doing so.

Location and food is amazing. View is also good but the rooms are average. Wifi was also not working well as there is only BSNL available till now in the area. Washrooms were average. Prices are little bit on higher side maybe because it’s one of the remote area of Kashmir. Overall it was average stay and can be considered one of the good option in the area.

Not value for money property is old need to be renovation but staff is good behaviour is good but rooms amenities or washrooms not upto the mark even looking glasses r in poor condition u never see ur face

Best part of mount view hotel is view from hotel and location- though hotel is very old and rooms need rennovation if prices are to be matched with facility- staffs are very very good and caring- food is good but that they have limited time to serve foods of your choice

The stay was absolutely amazing. The views from the hotel room were breathtaking and the river behind the hotel adds millions to its charm

View is fantastic from the room. But overall quality of the hotel is not good. Not maintained. Dirty walls and glasses. Looks like a an old and not maintained property. Views are spectacular. There is no balcony, but the windows are very large and give a clear view of mountains and river.

The deluxe room had smell of cigaratte ash inside the room after a long argument got upgraded to the best room of the hotel which to as i expected had the bathroom floor wet, toilet seat dirty and shower not working propely. The only good thing is the location but not worth the prize. Coming with family would suggest book hotel hilltop in both gulmarg and pahalgam.
