Comfortable tents with all amenities. Beautiful territory, lake with hippos. Good food in the restaurant. The only thing is that the choice of dishes for breakfast is small.

We really enjoyed our stay at Buffelsdrift. Only downside was the loud noice of the heaters in the middle of the night. Also, people @ reception weren't the most patient people we met during our trip, but besides that, we can highly recommend!

Wij hadden tent 8 direct aan het meer. Een luxe ingerichte tent met van alle gemakken voorzien. Groot. Schoon. Prima bedden en voor de koude avonden lekkere elektrische onderlaken. Kudu’s in de tuin en nyala’s. En in het meer de hypo’s. Uitstekende excursies. De cheeta experience was geweldig en de game drive ook. Geweldige gidsen !! Prima restaurant. Aardig personeel. Wat een pracht locatie. We hebben genoten.

In every communication they wish you a warm welcome. Unfortunately, the reception staff didn't gave us a warm welcome. Poor communication and they left us waiting for 20 minutes to bring us to the tent. (This was due to the distance not possible walking with luggage). The tents were great, we had some stormy weather, but felt 100% comfy. The bush drive we did was comfortable, the driver gave a lot of information. But it is not the same experience as we had near the Kruger park, where all the animals are wild.

We had a nice stay at Buffelsdrift. The tent was beautiful and had all the comforts of home. The bed and bedding was very comfortable. We stayed on the dam and opening our “door” to get the view in the morning was beautiful. The restaurant was never busy. The breakfast was really good and the lunch/dinner menu was good as well. Most of the staff were very helpful and friendly. We didn’t get an outline of the schedule/when things were offered for our package in advance and so we arrived too late for our first game drive and missed it. More clear communication prior to our arrival would have been appreciated.

Had a wonderful stay at Buffelsdrift Game Lodge unfortunately just one night but went on an evening game drive and early morning one too. Food superb, loved animal viewing in the dam. Tents were extremely comfy and well appointed, service very good. Wish we could have stayed longer
