Comfortable tents with all amenities. Beautiful territory, lake with hippos. Good food in the restaurant. The only thing is that the choice of dishes for breakfast is small.

Our stay at Buffelsdrift was pure bliss, from the booking untill checking out everything went smooth. The luxury tent with heated blankets for the cold weather was very cosy. I just felt good about the experience

This was our second visit to Buffelsdrift and it was just magical as our first. We stayed on the 2 day package in 2 of the Luxury Waterhole Tents as a family of 4. The tents are fabulous, waking up to the three gorgeous hippos we dubbed the ‘Karsplashians’ right outside our tent is one of those experiences you won’t easily forget. The food is delicious and the staff throughout the resort are the friendliest most helpful bunch we’ve ever come across. The game drive offers some of the most spectacular views over valleys and mountains and getting hugs from the elephants should be on everyone’s bucket list. Buffelsdrift can only be summed up by one word… Magic. ✨ We’ll be back as soon as possible.
