Kayaking on the dam was one of the many highlights. It's conveniently located near popular tourist spots, and the staff were super helpful and friendly. The amenities met all our needs. "Situated at the end of town, we spent a quiet night at Rosenhof. In fact i think we were the only ones staying that night (it was their winter ). Place looked charming and i can imagine that in the height of summer it would be a great place to relax and swim. Service both during the evening meal and breakfast was slow but that was ok with us, we wanted to relax before continuing our journey in South Africa. The room and bathroom were clean and they had put the heater on before we had arrived so that the room was warm when we entered."
