Mooiplaas is a stunning venue for a clean, crisp peaceful getaway. The views overlooking the orange skyline and Ostriches doing their thing was, Oh so lovely!! The place is well managed and the staff are a friendly bunch of good old happy country folk. Nothing was ever too much. The food was delicious and fresh fruits and vegetables were delivered everyday. The rooms are old but neat. The wooden floors give the place a vintage feel. The old brown wall to wall carpet was not great but the beautiful rugs thrown over it made is bearable. They have some good quality books to read and enjoy. The breakfast and dinner menu was on point👌🏾👌🏾. I loved the home baked bread 😋 😋. The breakfast box prepared before my 5am-120km ride was excellent! It was prepared excavtly As I had requestes. I have already booked for my next trip😍😍. I loved seeing the stuff happy and enjoying their work. It’s always a good sign when staff enjoy what they do. I think I might have made a friend or two. The curio shop is interesting and the service at the Spa was… you guessed it, Oh so lovely!!☺️

Warm and cozy place! The family suite is extremely comfortable: clean room & barhroom, huge bed, soft sheets. Thank you to the staff (especially André) for catering to our every needs including checking out late because of my illness. Baai dankie!!!!

Lovely place in the country- definitely need a car to get to it. Comfortable beds, quiet, great food for supper and breakfast. Service very good, friendly. Definitely would stay again if we are ever in the area! There is an ostrich farm just down the road and there were 3 ostriches walking around!

This was a truly unique experience. Where else do you stay when you sit on a ostrich sofa, looking at ostriches via an infinity pool, eating ostriches?? The staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating and we were taken to our room which was clean, well presented and very comfortable. This is a wonderful and unique experience (as mentioned) We would recommend visiting this place. Andree the manager is fantastic, and made us feel so welcome. He is absolutely fabulous! We had such fun, and the shop also has some great products (mainly ostrich related). This is a truly and unique experience and we would suggest it to friends and family.
