Room in downtown opposite university of Ottawa about 400 meters from Metro kitchen room so wide Price room is reasonable

It is located just a few minutes from Parliament. The history behind it is excellent, and they offer free Jail tours for the guests.

Great location to explore Ottawa, I got 6 beds dorm with ensuite bathroom, receptionists are friendly and happy to give useful informations, breakfast is very nice, clean and good kitchen with big dining room. The best hostel in my Canada trip.

iconic and nit so expensive and near to all touristy places and malls as well as transits

I enjoyed my stay very much, even though it was just for one night, everyone was helpful and friendly and I came down a little late, but the breakfast was alright, whatever little I had ,was pretty good and I would definitely stay there again if and when I come back to Ottawa again, I was just doing a layover, that's why I had stay there, thanks for everything, sincerely Rick Jones.

The hotel is a prison converted into a youth hostel. The front desk is very good. You can store your luggage in advance. You can sit in the public area for a whole day, cook, and have unlimited coffee refills. It is recommended.

Very cool hostel! Close to everything, with a fascinating history and well worth it. It's close to the metro station and several buses pass by. I recommend taking the guided tour of the prison.

Special prison experience. Lots of young service. Rich breakfast free. Meeting place, various city tours.. Everything was good. It is a recommended item for a small cost when you have time and a free mind..
