Bestes Abendessen, hervorragende Gastgeber, gelassen, sauber, freundlich. Kleinod! War schon öfter in Namibia, diese Farm möchte ich wieder besuchen, mit etwas mehr Zeit im Gepäck.

The campsite is beautifully equipped and we woke up to an ostrich and giraffes outside the fence. We were able to use all the facilities so had drinks by the waterhole then a superb buffet dinner, then they lit us a fire so we could sit outside again and watch the impala. The outside area is beautifully equipped, with so many birds too. Very warm welcome, would recommend to anyone.

The men felt like in a sleep and wasn´t very gladly to speak. They should be more talkaktive. The wife from Harald was very friendly and polite. I would recommend them that the young lady from the son of Harald take the frontoffice. She has a nice and friendly apperance.

Very nice campsite with great spacious and clean ablutions. Right by the fence of the private game reserve where you can walk by your own. Very friendly staff and owner. Nice Bar and a good Restaurant with a very good dinner buffet. Would definitely go there again.

Wir haben diese Lodge ausgewählt, weil wir die nahegelegene Weinfarm besuchen wollten und haben dadurch etwas Besonderes entdeckt. Die Farm wird in der fünften Generation von einer deutschstämmigen Familie geführt. Alle Bereiche sind sehr gepflegt und die geräumigen Zimmer sind mit kleinen Details liebevoll dekoriert. Alle Zimmer haben Blick auf das Wasserloch und wir konnten von Bett aus Giraffen sehen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und die Besitzer waren stets anwesend und haben sich um alles gekümmert. Der Pool ist klein, aber ist schön sich dort etwas auszuruhen. Wir haben einen Gamedrive mit Sundowner gemacht und u.a. die seltenen Weissschwanzgnus gesehen. Es werden auch Reitausflüge angeboten. Haben wir nicht gemacht, aber es waren einige Reiter unter den Gästen, die wohl vor allem deshalb gekommen sind. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet. Insgesamt ein sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Am besten 2 Nächte bleiben!

Loved our stay at Gabus. Friendly staff, food was delicious and the sunset horse Ride was one that we’ll never forget. The wildlife around the lodge is stunning. We would definitely recommend. One of our highlights of our trip!

Een oase van rust en vriendelijkheid!!
Heerlijke farm met blije mensen. S Avond dineren bij de waterplaats is super romantisch. Het eten is voortreffelijk, applaus 👏 voor kokkie . Leuke wandeling door de bush waar de sabelantilopen zich in rust zich kunnen voortplanten. Eenmaal groot dan gaan ze buiten in de echte bush, mooi project!!

This was our second visit, and once again, it was an incredible experience. The family-run lodge, conveniently located near Otavi, is the perfect place to relax and recharge on the way north. The food was outstanding, and the highlight—especially for our daughter—was the unforgettable horseback riding excursion. We can’t wait to return!
