One of our best stops during our honeymoon trip. Loved feeling part of the family- the horse riding was amazing and the sunrise breakfast was one of the highlights of the trip. All of the staff are really welcoming and give a great insight into the running of the farm. The food was so tasty and the rooms overlooking the waterhole were so special. Thanks so much

Schöne Poolanlage zum Ausspannen. Kreative und sehr leckere Küche mit regionalen und selbst hergestellten Produkten. Wasserstelle direkt am Restaurant zur Tierbeobachtung. Schöne Campsite mit tollem Badehäuschen. Sundowner Drive oder Reitausflug im eigenen Park sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We stayed at Gabus on around trip in Namibia for three nights and enjoyed ourselves a lot. We had opulent breakfasts, marvellous evening meals and (don´t forget to ask) delicious homemade cake in the aftenoons. It is a very beautiful lodge with very friendly and attentive staff and owners, beautiful rooms and a wonderful pool area.

Auf dem Weg Richtung Etosha haben wir (zwei Familien à zwei Erwachsene mit je einem Teenie) eine Nacht auf der Campsite verbracht. Die Campsite war mit Strom und Wasseranschluß sowie Sonnenschutz gut ausgestattet.Da wir das große Glück hatten alleine auf der Campsite zu sein, kamen wir in den Luxus, dass jede Familie ein eigenes Bad für sich zur Verfügung hatte. Dieses war sehr großzügig und mit großen Ablageflächen, super ausgestattet. Die Farm selbst ist bezaubernd, mit kleiner aber sehr feiner Poolanlage, direkt daneben das Restaurant, sowie eine Bar und jeder Menge Sitzplätze direkt am farmeigenem Wasserloch. Einfach herrlich. Da wir uns am Abend selbst versorgt haben, kamen wir nicht in den Genuss das Restaurant auszuprobieren. Zum Sonnenaufgang am nächsten Morgen haben wir Mädels an einer Reitsafari durch das Farmgelände teilgenommen, während die Männer mit dem Inhaber eine geführte Safari mit dem Auto unternommen haben. Beides war unglaublich toll und sehr informativ. Mit dem Pferd so nah an die Tiere heranzukommen war wirklich was ganz besonderes. Heike war hierbei sehr umsichtig und hat uns allen die "zum Können passenden" Tiere zugewiesen. Absolutes Highlight war das abschließende Bush-Frühstück zu dem wir uns am Ende getroffen haben. Schön eingedeckter Tisch, Sekt, Eier nach Wunsch über dem offenen Feuer gebraten und ein tolles Buffet! Sehr, sehr schön! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder! Danke an alle!

We had a wonderful stay at Gabus Lodge. The place is very well maintained and tastefully decorated. The rooms are spacious, with comfortable bedding, and offer a fantastic view of the waterhole, where you can admire many warthogs, oryx, impalas, and birds! We went on a night safari that allowed us to observe many giraffes, hyenas, baby bush animals, and many other species. The meals are delicious, and the wine list is extensive. We were particularly touched by Heinz's kindness, who took the time to explain the origin of the farm, his fascinating daily life, and his love for this region. My mother forgot a reading device in the room, and Harald kindly brought it back to us a few days later in Swakopmund. We are fully delighted with our stay and regret not being able to stay longer.

Far away from everything there is a nice ranch with all kinds of animals. Some of us went horse riding. A unique experience to explore wild life. The food and service was excellent. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Suggestion: rooms can be a bit more modernised.
