The owner put a lot of effort into opening a great hostel. I believe some people may take advantage of learning how to extend their business. Guest all enjoy their stay with quality and competitive price. Definitely will be back soon

I wasn’t exactly thrilled with the idea of a shared bathroom but the description of the facilities and furnishings intrigued me. When I checked in at Little Barrel I was immediately enthralled by the uniqueness of the decorations. It was indeed a pleasure to stay here and the numerous photos I took of the place can attest to that. And the shared bathrooms that I was so concerned about? It didn’t turn out to be a problem at all. The common bathrooms are maintained at a very high level of cleanliness and equipped with the latest toilet features. So if like me, you are interested in staying in esoteric places you can give Little Barrel a try!

The hostel itself is very elegant with lots of antiques Some games are available in the lounge for travelers to kill time.

recommended!! li love the room and the view outside. shared bathroom but it was fine. the room is quite big. love love !! although we only stay one night. the location is a bit tricky , 10 mins walk to the main attractions

Bit far from the station but near to music box museum , hotel interiors were nicely done up, guess the owner might be interior designer or architect. Public bathroom to share with, also small kitchen will all cooking essentials etc oil, sauce and also coffee tea.

You can hear footsteps, voices, and doors opening and closing, so it may be difficult for families with small children, but it was a very pleasant inn for adults to stay at. The shower room was small, but nicely appointed and had plenty of water pressure, so I was satisfied.

This is the first time to visit such a bad hotel no matter at home or abroad. First of all, the parking lot is located in a residential area and parking is very difficult. If you don't have good parking skills, don't rent this hotel, otherwise you may damage your car, and in serious cases, other vehicles may be damaged. The information on Ctrip.com said there was a private bathroom and toilet, but in fact there wasn't. There wasn't even room for a chair in the room. There was constant noise from trains outside the room. I have communicated with the hotel front desk, and this hotel has no private bathroom or toilet.

Kobe Hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Minami-Otaru Station and major attractions. The environment is warm and the beds are comfortable, suitable for backpackers and independent travelers. The public space feels like home and allows you to communicate with travelers from all over the world. Although the facilities are a bit old, it is overall clean and tidy, and the CP value is good. It is a good choice for affordable accommodation in Otaru!

I think this youth hostel is very clean, because your bed sheets and quilt covers are on your bed and you need to arrange them yourself. As a post-00s, I like this place very much. There are kitchen utensils, tableware, coffee and other daily necessities here; I can't find anything to eat at night, so I go to the station to buy instant noodles and come back. You don't have to worry about anything because everyone eats supper in the lobby like you; I get up in the morning and make myself a cup of hand-brewed coffee with the hotel's coffee. I stayed here for one night on my own and didn't feel strange. What you need to pay attention to nearby is the downhill slope at the door and the nearby railway, which you must pay attention to when commuting.

The hotel is in a good location, not far from JR and attractions, about 20 minutes' walk. There is a Lawson convenience store just a dozen meters away. The hotel facilities are a little old, but it is relatively warm and clean.
