食事、サービスはよかったが、トイレや洗顔が部屋になく値段の割には狭かった。
自然に配慮したシャンプー、リンスが置いてあったがそれで洗ったら髪がバリバリになった。
ただ見送ってくれた女将さんの感じが非常に良かった。
お湯も効能が良さそうで、雑貨に載るだけはあると思った。

長嶋茂雄氏がこの旅館へ与えた”快浴洗心”。本当にそうでした。３泊では少し短かったですが、湯治として泊まり背中の重荷がすっかり取れました。できるなら次回は５泊したいです。旅館主の母上から素晴らしいお茶を立てていただき今でも心温まる思い出です。

今回初めて盲導犬ユーザーと宿泊しました。めいいっぱいの配慮をしていただき、感激しております。予約が取りにくい宿だそうですが、必ずや再訪したいです。

東鳴子温泉になるんでしょうか？ 最寄り駅は鳴子御殿駅になります。 さびれた感のある小さな温泉街の通り沿いに宿はあります。 宿前にはなぜか馬車の車輪のようなものが置かれており興味をひかれました。 提灯には日本秘湯を守る会。会員宿のようです。 湯治宿の一面も持っているせいか今回は狭い客室でした。（質素な部屋でしたが泊まるには十分でした)館内にはお風呂が何と６か所もあります。他ふかし湯（オンドル？）までありバリエーションがあります。４階にある２つのお風呂は貸し切り風呂ですが予約不要。高台にあるので温泉街の景色を眺めることができました。 １階にある仙人風呂は湯舟が広く壁画（仏画）が描かれており独特な空間を醸し出しています。壁画は旅館ゆかりの作家である高橋典子氏によるもの。湯船の中央にある丸い座椅子の存在も忘れてはいけません。湯疲れしたらここに腰かけて半身浴に切り替えることもできます。宿から離れた場所にある貸切露天風呂も利用してみました。移動は宿から送迎が出ており約５分ほどで到着。湯船もほどほど広く時間制限があるのが惜しまれるところ。食事もおいしくいただくことができました。やはり東北はお米がおいしいのですね。お替りが進みます。プチ湯治体験もでき湯めぐりもできる素晴らしい旅館でした。
