Coral Sands Inn

Great location with a nice clean room that was quite comfortable. Quiet part of town, so it was very peaceful. Not many places you can get a room on the beach at this rate!

I just loved it here. I had a spacious room with kitchenette. I could hear the ocean and had the best ocean view. The staff were just so sweet. There is a Publix plaza nearby with a cute surf coffee shop in the parking lot. I slept great here and couldn’t be happier. I wish my stay was longer.

Our large family has just returned from another long weekend at Coral Sands. Our family group varies from 35 to 45 people for our annual BeachFest. I can't imagine a small setting (vs. a huge hotel) that could suit us better. We have well maintained cottages located close to each other, hotel rooms if we need them, a pool, the ocean, beautiful open green areas, and places to gather and eat together. The staff is consistently amazing. They accommodate us from early planning until the end of our yearly four day weekend. This is the perfect family gathering location. We found it a number of years ago for a bigger, extended family reunion, and our immediate family has enjoyed it ever since.

Last night a lady showed up at our camp site. She did not identify herself as the manager and told us that her workers needed to do some work the meaning this morning we asked her to please wait till after we checked out at 12 o’clock and she said OK that’s fine. Woke up sat trying to drink my coffee … We had a beautiful view until two of the workers decided to put cones 5 feet from where my chair was to block my view. I asked them to stop and because they were mad that I asked them to please wait to do their work until we left at noon. The workers intentionally retaliated against me when I asked them to not start their work until we were left and they placed big red cones 3 feet from my chair I tried to complain to the manager, who was the same lady that showed up at dark last night. When I started to tell her about what her workers did, she refused to listen to my complaint because she didn’t like my tone. Yes, my tone because I was angry, for the fact, she wouldn’t even listen. Of course, my tone was aggravated. When I told her she had a problem with my tone. She needed to grow ovaries, and she got offended by that …this is still America and if you are offended by the word ovaries you have a real problem . Also, We have a problem when you can’t complain about the management.. she refused to give me their phone number. I have everything on video and I would love to present it to the owners or the corporation that is in charge of this place because what happened was horrible. After I tried to complain to her, which she absolutely REFUSED to here my complaint. I told her we were leaving early. I got back to the campsite and was asking another worker for information on her boss and she walked up harassing me again. I have all this on video. Latoya is very unprofessional and lacks management training and how to address customer complaints. I hope they have videos in the office. I have videos of everything that I wrote about here. We will never go back. Ever! Also, their bathroom has 1 inch gaps so you cannot use the bathroom in private. It’s impossible and it’s ridiculous.. Thumbs down!

Awesome location on the beach, nice pool. Older property. Bed sloped, was lumpy and soft. A/C very noisy but it kept us from hearing the neighbors- the walls were thin. Everything worked, room was clean, bathroom very large. Guest laundry and ice machine. Paint in bathroom needed touching up but tile and carpet were in good condition. Good value.

We had a great few days at Coral Sands Inn. We stayed in a king/bunk bed cottage near grandparents in a king cottage and loved the easy access to the big, wide beach and fun pool! Laundry was a bonus, and the kitchenettes meant we could eat in most meals. Our cottage backed to the parking lot, but it was only loud when loud mtorcycles went by on the street. We did hear the neighbors talking early one morning through the walls, but just one morning. They still don't have cooking/eating utensils back, so that was a bummer but we knew ahead of time and figured it out. Using the grill out on the patio was fun and helpful. Things are a bit outdated but still comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, although we found phone calls to be very slow ahead of time. Be patient if you call because your stay is worth it! We hope to come back.
