"We had a lovely stay at Soil Setoda after riding bikes on the Shimanami Kaido from Onomichi. I think the bike ride between the two was about 35km, and in the heat of summer, that was enough! We had beautiful view from our room on the water's edge, and the room itself was good looking and comfortable. We had 35 degree celsius days for the three weeks we spent in Japan. We learnt good air conditioning from the bad. This one was good! The other really lovely aspect is the amazing food served. We had the short course dinner and then breakfast the next morning in the downstairs restaurant/cafe. Both were superb. I also think it was the best coffee in our three week trip! "

"The view from the living room was great at the house in front of the sea as shown in the photo! It was so relaxing and so comfortable that I didn't go out and spent time reading books while looking at the sea on the balcony and cooking and eating rice using local ingredients. At the low tide, I was able to take almost all walks along the coast."

"Since it's located in the Onomichi shopping district, rain wasn't a problem. The entrance was stylish and didn't look like a hotel. There's no elevator, so you have to go up the stairs, but it was convenient as I left my luggage there before checking in and went sightseeing. The room was stylish and had a projector, which was fun. My friend said it was "relaxing." I'm glad I made that choice. I was surprised that it included all-you-can-eat ice cream and souvenirs. I'd like to use it again next time."
