The Peregrine Omaha Downtown Curio Collection by Hilton

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Peregrine hotel in downtown Omaha! It's such a cute, modern boutique hotel with lots of character and an art-deco-inspired feel. Our room was very quiet, cozy and tucked away with a gorgeous view of the Peregrine courtyard. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I appreciated little touches like the Nespresso machine, plush robes, and a welcome screen on the TV. Service was consistently great—friendly staff at the front desk, prompt valet, and a quick check-in process. I didn’t dine in the on-site restaurant (The Habitat), but I did enjoy the rooftop bar (The Takeoff), which had great cocktails and a relaxed vibe with amazing skyline views. This is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in and would definitely go back!

The Peregrine Hotel is newer to downtown Omaha and is definitely a recommendation of ours. It’s just a few blocks’ walking distance from everything but in a much quieter section of the city. They have a restaurant and bar on site, including a rooftop bar and restaurant.

Booked this place specifically for the rooftop bar - we would have stayed closer to Old Market if not for the rooftop. Terribly disappointed to learn upon check in (not even then, had to read it on a chalk board) that it was closed for renovation. Would have been nice to have been advised ahead of time so we could have rebooked another location. Then I get to the room and am changing and had the pleasure of stepping on someone’s old mouth guard that was left on the floor. The next morning, after the room being cleaned, it was still there…they never picked it up - lord knows how long it was there. To cap it all off - the shower water temp was impossible to get right. There was mama bear, there was papa bear, but there was no baby bear…couldn’t find the just right temp setting. Wishing for a do over on this one and lamenting the 97,000 points I wasted on this stay.

This hotel is so gorgeous and has a great staff and a terrific location. Perfect for walking to shops and restaurants. Super chic spot!

JJ was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. He assisted our family with our parking needs and gave some advice on the area around the hotel.

You would think you were staying at the Four Seasons Maui based on how attentive the staff is at this Omaha treasure. Whether it was Alice at the front desk granting my colleague and I a late check out with zero notice to Eve running absolute point handing inbound deliveries to her INCREDIBLE hustle at the restaurant. Eve’s son was also a BEAUTY driving cars up to the front of house. Don’t even get us started with bartender Frank. Frank gave us the greatest burger rec of all time at the Jackson Street Tavern. Will stay here on every visit to the Cornhusker state. Electric factory.
