"Stayed for one night while exploring Dartmoor and it makes for a great stop on route. The room was large and comfortable but can get a bit cold if it is a cold day. But all the staff are lovely and friendly and the food is excellent!"

"The outside of the building looks a bit dated, however the room was clean tidy and very presentable. Its a quiet location with a view of fields from the rear of the building. There is a Greggs and Burger King with small shop attached to the service station nearby which is essy to walk to. I would stay here again."

"I rarely if at all write reviews unless they are either excellent or awful! This place was truly awful for our work Christmas lunch! We waited almost two hours for our main courses and the food was beyond shocking! I wish I’d taken pictures but if wasn’t appropriate to do this while people were having their meals! The roast potatoes were the size of jacket potatoes, the mushroom risotto looked like someone had been sick in a bowl, the duck was the smallest wing I’ve ever seen, I fact it looked like a duck foot! The waitress was extremely miserable and acted like it was a chore to be serving us! The deserts weren’t much better, the cream was off on the Pavlova, the Christmas pudding was obviously a teeny microwaveable thing out of a packet. We were in the basement bit and it was freezing. To be honest I can’t be bothered to go on because this review looks so awful. Would not come here again to eat and extremely disappointed that this was supposed to be a Christmas meal."
