Hummingbird Inn ★★
"It's actually a motel with a relatively large room."
Ojai Valley Inn ★★★★★
"Great place to celebrate my birthday solo with my pet. The room is great and amenities in room nice restaurant in dining service team was very accommodating and food was excellent. They even dropped off a bday card and treat! Had a spa treatment and splurged a little. Only negative thing I’d say was cost of bringing your companion. $300 is a little excessive. I would expect dog meals delivered and a dog grooming treatment for that especially when staying for a single night. I’d still recommend it, but maybe find arrangements for your companion. I did enjoy having her with me and would probably still take her again. The grounds were nice and peaceful too!"
Chantico Inn ★★
"We checked in during the evening on a weekend. Upon arrival, the front desk informed us that we had to pay an additional daily resort fee, even though our booking on Trip.com clearly showed that all taxes and fees had already been paid. Since it was already late and finding another hotel wasn’t practical, we decided to stay. The front desk did upgrade our room, which we appreciated. However, the upgraded room was very outdated and had a constant unpleasant sewage smell. The bed didn’t appear very clean, and the bathtub was broken and unusable. To make matters worse, there were quite a few small bugs in the bathroom, which was extremely unpleasant. The towels and bath towels were old and worn out as well. Another major issue was that the windows had no blackout curtains. The room became very bright early every morning, making it impossible to sleep well. We came here for intensive tennis training, so getting enough rest was important, but we were woken up far too early every day. Considering the price we paid, this hotel did not offer good value for money. There are definitely much better options available at the same price point."
Casa Ojai Inn ★★
"This is a unique inn, and I was particularly pleased with the service, which was more welcoming than a hotel. We had a lot of heavy luggage, and fearing the local area might be unsafe, we had to take it all to the room and didn't dare leave it in the car. We specifically requested a first-floor room because there's no elevator on the second floor. Customer service was helpful in arranging a first-floor room. The surrounding nature is beautiful, and it's a national park, though it's closed. There's a supermarket in a small town not far away, with affordable prices and quite convenient. There are also some small restaurants nearby, including some Japanese food."
Ojai Retreat & Inn ★★★
"Thanks to the clean rooms and friendly staff, I had a comfortable time. The facilities are well maintained and the location is great, so I would like to visit again. I liked the quiet atmosphere."
Ojai Rancho Inn ★★
The Capri Hotel ★★
"The room was nice. You can tell it was designed with great care. It's a popular hotel. But the bedding and towels were very cheap. The quilt made a loud plastic sound when it turned over. The front desk was not very professional either. They were either chatting or drinking."
Caravan Outpost ★★★
"The place was great. The kids love it. Clean and everything was working well. I would definitely go back."
Su Nido Inn ★★★★
"We stayed in the Heron room and loved it. The room was spacious with a comfy bed, and the private balcony quickly became our favorite spot – we could hear the fountain in the mornings and evenings while we sipped coffee or a glass of wine, which made the whole stay feel incredibly peaceful. The property itself is very clean and well maintained, and we appreciated having a fireplace in the room to put on a movie and unwind at night. The hotel is close enough to walk into town for restaurants and shops, but tucked far enough away that it stays quiet and relaxing. Overall, a wonderfully calm, peaceful place to stay in Ojai and we’d happily come back."
