Stayed 1 night with my wife, room was clean and comfortable, the view was beautiful, food and staff was perfect. Plenty of thing to do we did the walks next time mountain biking Would I go back and recommend to friends and family HELL yes I loved staying there and will be going back soon.

We enjoyed our stay here. Everything was clean and tidy and well maintained. Food was great. Swimming pool was nice and warm and cosy.Location was great. We would definitely go back.

Stayed here for King's Birthday Weekend. As we were late arriving, we did the contact less check-in which was a breeze. Our room was spotlessly clean. The heat pump had been turned on prior to our arrival so the room was very cosy. In the morning, the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and the breakfast both mornings were outstanding. Every single staff member we had contact with (reception, cleaners, bar staff, literally everyone) was friendly and helpful. 10/10

Just spent an exceptional couple of nights at the Powderhorn for kings birthday weekend. The room was spotless and well appointed, the bed was so comfy. The staff were superb, so friendlyand helpful. The food was lovely and the cocktails were delicious. Will definitely be back.

it's a great base to explore the mountain, and loved hanging out in the Powderkeg at the end of the day. Excellent food and service. 2nd time staying and will definitely be back. Thank you!

Toasty warm spot for a beer and a hot choccy on a cold autumn day, excellent service from the friendly staff and delicious selection of snacks. The Location is perfect to access the local bike trails and close to the mountain for the ski season. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This property advertises a heated pool. This is the second year that I have stayed at the Powderhorn and the pool has been cold. This is extremely disappointing and I will not return again. Shame for Ohakune.
