Rooms are small—fine for three people with backpacks, but tight with larger luggage. The kitchen/lounge is well equipped, though bathrooms are limited (two toilets and two showers). Great location for the Tongariro Alpine Crossing, with shuttle pick-up right outside. Limited nearby options, so bring food or eat at the on-site restaurant, which serves generous, tasty meals. Sauna is a nice bonus."

Good quiet location while only a close walk to the cafes and supermarket, great service. "
