This is very small botique hotel, didn't look impressive front the entrance outside hotel. The moment we went in, it is really cozy & we were greeted by very warming in house manager & booked dinner table as well. We enjoyed their breakfast and as well as dinner, very good quality. Our concern is this hotel doesn't have lift.

Nice boutique hotel in Oban. We had a car on this portion of our trip and the hotel had parking slots available which was a great convenience. The front desk lady was quite helpful and friendly. A glass of prosecco on arrival was a welcoming touch. Had to order breakfast choice the night before but the food was all excellent and well-prepared. The room decor was a bit dark and created a slightly claustrophobic experience . Room was hot at night with radiator heat but a tower fan provided some cool air while sleeping. Beds were comfortable. No elevator so need good mobility to carry luggage and walk up flight of stairs. Nice 12-15 minute walk down the waterfront to the train station/ ferry terminal from the hotel.

We are a Tours company based in the Scottish Highlands. We were very attracted by Number 17 when it first appeared and we have been promoting it to the US travel market. I stayed for the first time and it was a great experience. Wonderful rooms and amazing decor, superb food and service. Sarah and Aisish were super efficient and welcoming. I brought the Boston travel company to eat at the restaurant and we had a fantastic dinner. As a Proud Scot and working in the travel and tourism industry, I applaud the investors of both Number 17 and Number 26 The Promenade.

I fell a bit ill during my stay and Sarah, Aisha and Elaina went above and beyond to ensure I was ok. Elaina even made a trip to the chemist/pharmacy for me to pick up some essentials. I cannot emphasize how lovely and compassionate they all were. Even the chefs accommodated my requests so I could eat a little something. Beyond that, it is a gorgeous property. I fully intend to return so that I can enjoy it in better health. Thank you again to everyone for an absolutely 5 star experience.

Just returned from 2 night stay at this amazing boutique guest house, never fails to disappoint, staff, food, rooms were top notch, special thanks to Lexi ( Breakfast waitress) and Sagar ( Breakfast chef ) for the special attention / food they served up to us on both mornings, both two lovely persons, 10/10...will be returning next year, highly recommend, thanks again guys, Graham& Linda.

Myself and my boyfriend came here for our 4 year anniversary and had the most amazing time! The staff are so welcoming and happy to cater to your needs. The room was gorgeous, even the extra little touches such as teas, water and dressing gowns felt that bit more special! Porcini restaurant was fabulous, the food was incredible and drinks were amazing too! Will definitely be back :)

Four of us booked in for two nights and enjoyed every minute of our stay. From the warm welcome on arrival, the cosy, comfortable rooms with all the luxury touches and delicious breakfasts and dinner enjoyed during our stay. 10 out of 10 from start to finish. We would highly recommend a visit to this perfect boutique hotel.
