Location was convenient - a little off the busiest part of the town but still walkable especially to the pier and restaurants.

Good location. Friendly staff. Traffic noises was be loud since our room windows are facing the main road. Noise proofing recommended.

The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was lovely, and the towels were nice and fluffy. It was close to the harbor and restaurants. There were two coffee makers (Nespresso and Nescafé), bottled water, and chocolates in the room. We did not choose the breakfast because we prefer going to restaurants. Overall, this was the nicest 3-star hotel of our two-week stay in Scotland. Highly recommend if you are in Oban.

I stayed with my family when we visited from the US for the International Highland Cattle Gathering, which brought over 100 cattle breeders from around the world to Oban. Since our trip was booked through the tour company, we didn’t have a pick of where to stay but were by far the luckiest. Everything was top notch… modern, updated and well maintained lobby, bar/restaurant and rooms. All the staff were the nicest, happiest team I have ever seen and went out of their way to make our stay excellent. Even running to get a new key made from the shop across the street so we’d have two keys since they still use traditional keys. The breakfast was delicious, quality home cooked meals! Would stay again and again and is my new standard for a hotel stay.
