The hotel is located nearby the harbor so it is a walking distance to everywhere. But the building itself is old.

This is a gem of a hotel. GReat staff very friendly especilly Stephine . The brakefast was excllent

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the rooms were spotless. Highly recommend. A perfect getaway! The ambiance, service, and location were all top-notch. Will definitely return. Loved everything about this hotel. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. They were always helpful and polite. Special thanks to zharra for making the check in so smooth and easy . We had a lovely Seaview room.

2nd visit. Not as good as 1st - probably due to the pool non operational pending maintenance which was disappointing as it’s a lovely pool & only reason booked the hotel. Lovely sea view location & nice main sea view seating areas. Single room was adequate. No bar or restaurant food available at 8.30pm & pizzas only available on Fridays anyways. So again bit disappointing but in the town found a lovely Chinese takeaway & also excellent fish & chip place not far. Lovely helpful receptionist but she seemed to be multi tasking serving the bar also. So probably staff shortages. Overall it’s ok but in need of some refurbishment/upgrades to rooms/bathrooms - but nice enough for short stay - slightly over priced as per above & a large wine is £9.50 - is that expensive?

We stayed 2 nights in Oban and this hotel is very nice have sea view , have swimming pool, my son who is 6, he love swimming. and our family room is so grand and beautiful, and I highly recommend all of you need to book the room with dinner and breakfast , the price is so reasonable and you can have 3 courses each person (include kids) , I loved the waitress who called Alice , she is so nice , as this is my first time to have dinner in hotel , she is very patient and polite to give us advise for the food from starter to main and to dessert, we love this restaurant as the starter is not mini size, we are so surprises and all the food taste yummy. The apple crumble is very nice. Alice always take care us and so fast to response my kids needs (ice-cream). In the morning, when we having breakfast , Alice is so sweet and took the initiative to take photos for us. We have good memories in this hotel, especially Alice , we love her , she makes me feel like family and homes. she is very effective, and so funny , she share us some guest like watching her go everywhere to refill the food and serve other person as she walk very fast ^^ She is a hard working lady as she told me she already work in this hotel over 7 years, and I said next time I must book this hotel because I want to see you again. One more tips, book this hotel direct from there official website rather than others as they always have some promotion price from online include breakfast and dinner . Friendly staff, great hot buffet for breakfast reasonably priced. Room was small but comfortable. Shower was lovely and hot however small shower head and didn’t place well.
