Last time we were here it was a birthday celebration just the 2 of us. This time we return with our 2 children in tow and we are so happy we did. The owners have certainly invested since we were last here in 2019 and it shows. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage with hot tub this time and it was just as wonderful and private as the Hilltop we had last time. We spent a days exploring the island, animals and swimming in the pool. Mum even managed to have a facial by the lovely Nic. We ate in The Deck, serving small plates. My children can vouch for the mini burgers. Thank you to all the helpful and patient staff, they really went out their way with the kids!

Had the most fantastic stay, would highly recommend the Hilltops to anyone looking for a break away as a couple or friends. My friend and I often enjoy a couple of days away to enjoy some peace and ideally a massage or two. The views from the Hilltops are stunning and we literally only left the hot tub for a treatment in the spa, a wee wander to visit the animals and a snack. Staff were delightful, and friendly and just what we needed.

We stayed in Hilltop Hideway No3. Absolutely loved it. Peaceful and so cosy with amazing views. Fab bathroom, well equipped kitchen, comfy sofas and lovely hot tub! We saw a red squirrel which was a lovely bonus. We stayed 6 nights and will return next year!

A beautiful hotel in a peaceful location. The rooms were very comfortable, warm and spacious. The food was delicious and service attentive. Full use of the spa is included and a relaxing space. I had the best spa treatment experience ( the Rejuvenating BNA Massage with LED facial) with Miha who was incredible.

Hard to know how to review this overall. The lodging side (room, service, location) was spectacular. But the dining was a very mixed bag, and what was to be our highlight meal in the main dining room was an utter disappointment. For 85GBP/person the meal should have been spectacular. It was anything but. There are countless fine dining options in Scotland and this place simply hasn't kept up. While it had the trappings of fine dining in terms of presentation (and price) the flavors were bland and uninspired, especially given the extremely high price point. On top of that, the service was not very good either. It was adequate but nothing special. For instance, this was a special occasion dinner for us, and the hotel knew that, but there was no mention of that in any way. The server didn't know whose dish was whose. And so on. Spend the money to stay here, but skip the main dining room and have a far better dinner in Oban for a fraction of the price.

The Isle of Eriska Hotel is amazing. The building, situated on it's own island, is beautiful and the extensive grounds are fabulous. The rooms are beautifully appointed, and he bar and sitting rooms are lovely. Great bartender with an extensive knowledge of Scotch! And the food was fantastic. First class all the way. We only wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommended!

Fabulous location, room was beautiful. Staff were amazing and very attentive. We had our two year old with us and they were all very accommodating and kind with her. I'd highly recommend the hot stone massage, Nicola was fabulous. Best massage I've ever experienced. We were lucky enough to see the otter, wild deer and a sea eagle!
