My husband and I had a one-night staycation at this beautiful resort, and it was truly a great experience. From the moment we arrived, everything was well taken care of. We were welcomed with a refreshing drink, which was a nice touch, and the staff throughout our stay were warm, friendly, and attentive. The weather was quite hot, but we had planned ahead and booked an in-house BBQ with a sunset view — definitely one of the highlights. A special chef handled the BBQ just for us, and the server attending to us was equally pleasant and professional. We managed to catch the sunset for a few minutes before the dinner, which made the moment even more special. The resort itself is stunning — clean, well-maintained, and peaceful. We’ll definitely consider coming back again. The complimentary breakfast offered a great variety and quality, much more than we expected. The buggy drivers were also incredibly helpful and always greeted us with a cheerful smile. They even picked us up and sent us to the ferry terminal upon checkout, which made our departure smooth and stress-free. We also visited the spa and tried both the Indonesian and Montigo massages. While we couldn’t really tell the difference between the two, the masseuses were skilled and professional. One small suggestion would be to include some relaxing background music during the massage, as the silence felt a bit too quiet. The food overall was above average, even if not the absolute best we’ve had. Still, paired with the views and ambiance, it made for a lovely experience. All in all, the resort is a perfect place for a peaceful weekend escape. The views are amazing, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is relaxing. While the price is on the higher side, it’s expected at a five-star resort — and in our opinion, it’s well worth it. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a short, luxurious break to recharge.

Personally felt that the sink water wasn’t very clean. Blankets on bed were not very clean as well. However, the service and amenities were 10/10 in the villa itself. Location was about est45min away from batam center area. ( a little far but to me it’s okay. ) for experience it’s fine n okay .

It’s such a beautiful resort with private pool, about 30 mins drive from the city Center, the nearest ferry terminal is Nongsa terminal rather than Batam Center. The environment is beautiful and the room is spacious, I can’t wait to go back again next time. The only thing be careful is the edges of the stairs inside the private pool is a little sharp, young kids got to be careful when swim inside the private pool.

Good room, service and amenities. Andika and Satriya from housekeeping were friendly and ensured our room was good condition. Nice views and good time. Only downs side perhaps was breakfast on weekends quite crowded. Good breakfast selection otherwise!

We enjoyed the villa and the wonderful service at montigo so much. Every staff was really kind, and we could relax the entire stay. We also appreciate the celebration cake surprise too! Hope I can visit there again! Highly recommended.

Great place for family vacation. Just a ferry ride from Singapore Tenah Merah to Nonsapura Batam. Just be careful of immigration officer as they may expect you to pay “tip”

Perfect location for a weekend getaway!☺️ You can just stay in the resort because there are just so many activities for you to engage in and a wide variety of food choices too. The staff were extremely nice and helpful.🙆🏻♀️ The only small problem (not with the resort) is that their tax is slightly on a higher side so a cheap massage price can end up higher than expected. But still quite worth it. :)

I chose Montigo Resort Nongsa to celebrate my partner's birthday, and honestly, they made it special. I left a note mentioning that it was my partner's birthday and the team truly went the extra mile to surprise him in the evening with a birthday cake with candles all ready, and even a sweet "Happy Birthday" spelt out with flowers on our bed. It was such a thoughtful touch, huge props to the team for that effort! The view from our private pool at night is stunning. It was so peaceful with sky full of stars and we were able to see the lights of Singapore across the water from our room. The resort location isn't exactly convenient as it sits outside of the Batam central area where all the malls are at, but this is definitely the place for a quiet and chillax weekend getaway. The only thing that wasn't quite perfect was the breakfast spread and water. The breakfast was below standard type of bad in terms of taste and available selection for a resort of this price point. More importantly is that we did notice quite some small black bits floating around in the pool, and the water for the bathtub had this yellow tinge (we leave it running for 20 min and it's still slightly yellow, and the water flowing out turned cold after 20 min). Although, these weren't a huge deal-breaker cause both of us don't use the bathtub, but it's something I think the resort should seriously look into if they are positioning themselves as a high-end resort. Overall though, despite that the issues, our stay at Montigo Nongsa was fantastic. The amazing service, especially that lovely birthday surprise, and those incredible nighttime views completely won us over. If they can just sort out the water situation, it would be absolutely top-notch. We're already thinking about when we can plan our next visit!

Nice place with great prompt service. All staff were polite and helpful, and always cheerful. Getting around the resort was easy with quick buggy service throughout the day. Activities are quite pricey and did not appear appealing. But we are mainly there to chill, and the pool (common one and in villa) and beach were nice and well-maintained. Breakfast buffet was good with a wide selection. Huge pizza at pool cafe was great!

The staff was very friendly and attentive. They made sure we had everything we needed. Great experience! Fantastic service! quick, polite, and very professional. The staff was extremely helpful and made our dining experience enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Dear Montigo Resort Team, I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the wonderful hospitality during our stay from March 19 to 21, 2025. From the moment we checked in, we were pleasantly surprised to receive a free upgrade, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Despite the unexpected rainwater flooding on the second floor due to the monsoon weather, your team responded promptly and professionally. We truly appreciated the late check-out offer at 3 PM and the discount on in-room dining services as a goodwill gesture. While we couldn’t take the late check-out due to our plans, the dining discount was a thoughtful touch. We also thoroughly enjoyed the BBQ in-room service, choosing to cook ourselves without a chef. It was a fantastic experience, and the quality of the food provided was excellent. Overall, the exceptional customer service made our stay a pleasant and memorable one. Thank you for going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. We look forward to visiting again in the future!

The cleanliness of the villa was excellent. The staffs were very friendly, polite and approachable, always greeting us with an authentic smile. Awesome service! 👍

Overall is really a nice place to visit, they have own beach, own small bus to bring you around whenever you want within their resort area. Staffs are friendly nice. Although during my stay having some disappointment but the management has really heard our voice and take care of us. Would pay a visit again.
