"This place is a bit 'marmite'. You feel like you're staying in an eccentric old aunt's house (which I think it was). For me it was all a bit much. And I have to admit I was a bit spooked by the baby Jesus in the crib when returning late at night. The garden is lovely but I was sad for the two caged birds that couldn't enjoy sitting in the trees. I appreciate they're not indigenous and wouldn't survive if free, but I felt they shouldn't be there at all and it spoiled my enjoyment of the garden. The continental breakfast at 38 euros was over-priced compared to other places we stayed on the trip. We had to hand our key in before going out (it had a massive tassel so you couldn't really take it anyway) and had to buzz for someone to meet us at the gate when returning in the evening. It would be better to have the code so easier to come and go as you please. But i guess they are worried about guests stealing their treasures. On the plus side, the young staff were very helpful and spoke good English and the towels and bed linen were very luxurious. "

"The hotel is accessed from a small road off the highway. The gardens and pool are beautiful. There's no elevator, so carrying luggage upstairs was a bit of a hassle. The room was small but comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. There's no refrigerator, but you can get ice and water in the restaurant. The breakfast was quite generous, and the staff were very friendly."

"visited Le Pré Galoffre for a couple of nights whilst on a work trip in the area. I found the hotel to be of good quality, with very good service throughout. They kindly offered to prepare an early breakfast to accommodate our early departure, which was much appreciated. The setting is pleasant, and the tree-lined driveway up to the entrance makes a very nice first impression. Breakfast was good, with a nice continental selection. The rooms were decent, although they lacked heating, so I imagine they could feel a little cold in winter. The main drawback was the bathroom design, as water from the shower tends to spill onto the floor unless you angle it carefully. That is a minor design flaw rather than a major issue, though."
