This was my second stay at the hotel, and it was just as good as the first time—consistent service and a comfortable experience all around. This time, I checked out the gym and was pleasantly surprised! It’s well-equipped with free weights, a cable machine, treadmill, and more—great for anyone looking to squeeze in a workout during their stay. Will definitely come back again.

We headed to R&F link bridge from CIQ-City Square mall right after we were informed check-in is available around 2pm+.  We were quite disappointed with the long walk with breakage of the link bridge due to RTS construction works ongoing. The long climbs of stairs down then up to the continuation link bridge is rather a hassle especially for guest who carries luggage as we have seen along the way. Luckily we only carried light backpack as we only stay for one night. The procedure of checking in to R&F Princess Cove is rather simple by following a step-by-step instruction via WhatsApp. The unit assigned to us is at B1-1 Block on the 33rd floor. It was right after the rain stopped when we reached. There is a broken-handle window along the corridor hence not properly closed.  The heavy rain has actually poured onto the corridor flooring and we almost slipped as we didn’t see the patch of water. The unit assigned to us was according to our request (away from lift, non-smoking & high floor).  The unit we should say, is well maintained, clean and really nice!!! The only flaw is that the seaview is not as expected (only a slant opening seaview perhaps). The only bedroom ceiling light cum fan is great. However, the bedroom entrance downlight electrical point is tied to the ceiling light cum fan which the entrance downlight can’t be switched off when the fan is in operation during sleep….anyway, we turned on the aircon thereafter in order not to be affected by the glaring bedroom entrance downlight. Even there are 2 pillows each, they are rather too soft and we couldn’t sleep well.  Apart from the above, we enjoyed very much at the Living and Kitchen areas where we watched TV drama & having our meals. The next morning while heading out to walk around the premises, a pale stale stink smell from the rubbish chute on our level can be smelt while waiting for the lift to go down…… The exterior environment of R&F Princess Cove (phase 2) is comfortable especially on the 8th floor where gardens, swimming pool, gym, viewing deck, jogging track and link bridge to R&F mall are resided. One thing to praise is that R&F Princess Cove has friendly, nice security guards and staffs who have communicated via WhatsApp, thumbsup!  Overall we think it is good to stay provided the CIQ to R&F Princess Cove link bridge is complete.

We have been here so many times, and always have great impression except this. The hotel is getting older, more busy, so much of the cleanliness is neglected. So much stain on the sofa & 2 parts of the carpet which we called to informed immediately after check-in, the aircon was down too, wonder if they service or clean, oil needed to be added to slowly work. Didnt allow to change room due to no vacancy for similar type we paid for, asked us to downgrade to another cheaper room which we werent keen, said will help us next day but didnt do anything. Obtained blanket to cover stain, carpet stains were still there as promised to deliver mats but didnt.

The AC in the room was terrible. After many calls to the front desk. We finally got through and informed them of the heat in the room. Was told someone will come to check. After waiting an hour, I fell asleep in the heat. Middle of the night it was still hot. By the morning the aircon had finally gotten cold. What a horrible night we had. The towels at this hotel are also subpar for a holiday inn. Breakfast and service was good. Location is good too. Free car parking.

Stay for one week here best place to relax and unwind! The location was perfect… just a short walk to JB Mall, and Komtar is right behind the hotel, so everything was super convenient. Plenty of cafes nearby too! The room and hotel service were topnotch. Nayyan did a great job keeping the room tidy and always made sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was meriah (plentiful and delicious!) and I loved hitting their gym every morning and evening. I also tried their Breeze Spa and my therapist, Diana, had such a magical touch that I actually fell asleep during the session! I felt so relaxed and light afterwards. Overall, I really love Amari JB. If anyone’s planning to stay in JB city centre, you should definitely try Amari too!

Room rate is affordable. Spacious room with big beds, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast also had plenty choice of food and was charged RM30 instead of the published rate RM40 per person. Hotel also provided convenient parking at the basement. Requested for a room near lift but was given very far from lift (Room 917). Front desk staff was kinda new and probably overlooked the request. The towels given was rather thin and felt like old cloth (rough). Perhaps can replace with a soft and thick comfortable towels. Other than that, all is fine. Will come back for business trip later.

We had a great stay at St Giles Check-in Checking in was very quick and fuss free. Despite booking 4 rooms for the entire family, they only requested for the passport of the main party who made the booking. This is much more convenient and seamless. Staff was extremely friendly and courteous throughout and explained the hotel facilities and the timing for the breakfast. We called in before hand to request for connecting rooms and they arranged for rooms which are opposite one another and both were connecting rooms. Kudos for the effort to accommodate customers request. Rooms The rooms were plenty big and there was enough storage space. There's are convenient water dispensers located at both ends of the corridor allowing you to refill the glass bottle included in the room which is not only great for the environment but we liked it as that provided us with unlimited supply of water unlike standard complimentary bottled water. Facilities were in good condition including water kettle. Beds were clean and there is even a nice bay window to chill and relax. TV are smart and you can connect your devices. Toilets had all basic necessities including toothbrush and shavers in request. TV were if good quality with a great options for Singapore channels. Water pressure and hot water in the bath room is great. They have one of the best designed toilets in my view as the design is not only non slip but it kept the other parts of the toilet dey after shower which is fantastic. Towels were changed everyday if you wish to. Ironing board is also included. Pool Hotel pool is nice and located at the top floor offering great views. Staff The staff are all amazing. From hotel reception to house keeping to security. Everyone greeted us with a smile every time we see them. This is too notch Checkout Checkout was the most seamless ever. The staff did not even do any check of the rooms. They just took the key card and that concluded the checkout process. The hotel also accommodated our request for a later checkout. Breakfast Breakfast has good variety but the quality is just ok. There were plenty of seats around and the food is always replenished. Can do better The pillows were too soft and unfortunately the hotel do not have any other option available. The hotel gym is very basic and lacked a proper treadmill. The breakfast has good variety and options but the taste could be better. Most were just ok. Conclusion One of the best in JB. We will return again for sure and highly recommend to everyone

We stayed in Executive Three Bedroom Apartment with Private Pool A. Advantage, the apartment is very spacious. Suitable for a big family. Good location to KSL mall, but compared to hotel, there is a slight walking distance from the check-in counter. There are toilet daily amenities provided and bottle water are provided. Disadvantage, the cleanliness of the cabinets are not good, dusty. The private swimming pool is dirty. There are 3 bathrooms, 1 of them, the heater does not work well. There are no bedroom slippers provided and there are no safe provided. There are many dangerous fragile furniture around, with kids, is dangerous and if furniture happen to spoil, they will deduct the deposit (RM300) which initially required during check-in. I hope the management will look into upgrading the apartment, or even cleanliness of the apartment especially the pool and the pool surroundings. I still recommended to stay at KSL hotel compared to the apartment.

Excellent place. Cleanliness is top notch! Breakfast food is good! Receptionist service is good. If I can sleep soundly throughout the night that means the bed is clean and comfortable! Love the hotel stay as it located at ideal locations to eateries and shopping mall. Also I was amazed with Trip’s descriptions, it’s factual and you can rest assured with it! You just won over a new customer.
