RIU Hotels in New York

The hotel was warm and welcoming on our arrival.Check in was quick snd easy.we agreed a preferred floor for our stay and were happy to be given a room next door to our daughter and granddaughter as requested. The room was clean and bright and was changed on the days we required and always cleaned to a high standard. Breakfasts were busy even though we changed times to find a quieter time, however there was always plenty of food available and it was always warm. Everything was tasty and fresh. We were welcomed each day whilst giving our room numbers and loved the friendliness of those doing so especially Jennie. Tables were cleaned quickly and plates removed as soon as food was consumed The hotel is in a great location close to all amenities

The room was really small, but we still unfolded the sofa bed and accommodated a family of three - except that the big suitcase could not be unfolded. The iron rack was practical but very low-end, and there was only one universal bath, hair and hand washing water. In Manhattan, for the sake of safety when watching a musical, it was fine. Compared with the Renaissance next door, the room and facilities were inferior. There was no drinking water.
