I stayed at the Moxy Hotel Times Square in New York and had a very disappointing experience.
First of all, the daily cleaning service mentioned on the Trip.com listing was not respected. I personally asked the front desk twice for the room to be cleaned, and each time, when we returned, the room was still untouched.
On the third day, I had to ask again around 5:00 PM, and only then did a housekeeping staff member show up.
Secondly, the “breakfast included” was very misleading. Instead of a proper breakfast, we were offered yogurts, apple juice, water, lemon-flavored muffins, and packaged cookies. This is far from the standard one would expect from a hotel of this category, and nothing like what was described at the time of booking.
I believe this experience did not match the level of service we paid for, and I’m therefore requesting an explanation and appropriate compensation.
