The hotel is in a good location. The hotel has a long history, so the facilities are generally old. Because 70% of it is the residence of the elderly, only 30% of the rooms are open to the public. The overall service is very thoughtful. It is not recommended for couples or family travel. The architectural style is more European, unlike new hotels, which are more generous. The minibar is full of the cheapest things and is charged for except water. Although it is clean, it looks very old overall. The toiletries are from London's molton. The breakfast downstairs is the oldest Cipriani creation point, which is very good. Overall, I feel that if you are over 60 years old and like the quietness of a bustling city, choose this place. Because I didn't see many reviews, I happened to live here and came to explore. I don't recommend staying here unless there is really no other hotel to go.

We had a wonderful stay here. Very quiet. Clean and comfortable beds. Across the street from Central Park. Historic hotel. Currently is part hotel and part residence. The staff was very helpful. When visiting Manhattan, it is very important that the hotel is quiet and clean.

Magnifique hôtel de l’époque Gatsby, en arrivant dans le hall d’entrée on est projeté dans un autre temps. Russell, l’employé de réception qui nous a reçu est d’une gentillesse et d’une efficacité extraordinaire. Les messieurs qui gèrent les ascenseurs étaient également d’une grande gentillesse et politesse. La chambre était parfaite, toujours très propre avec une vue plongeante sur Central Park. L’arrivée d’eau chaude de la douche prend un peu de temps. C’est un hôtel parfait si on souhaite se replonger dans l’époque de New York des années 30! Seul bémol: l’une des réceptionnistes est arrogante et pas orientée clients, cela casse quelque peu le mythe de cet hôtel d’exception.
